Superb dining experience beginning to end. This hits all the marks. Friendly greeting the moment we entered and that added touch with our name chalked in the reservation marker. They are only open a few nights a week for a couple hours and they absolutely optimize it with the fresh farm ingredients. We had the special swordfish, walleye, and salmon. Each was excellent full bodied and delicious. I have asparagus and a mashed sweet potato. Every bite beginning to end confirmed the choice of visiting. Halfway through the chef checked on us stating if anything wasn’t up to standards he could adjust. If you are around on the weekend…DO NOT pass up the opportunity. You’ll be thanking yourself without a doubt.

Lovely family owned restaurant in Wonewoc, Wi. Happy smiling service. Great food: my locally sourced salad with tasty blue cheese dressing and french onion soup was outstanding. My husband thought his steak could have been better (less tough) but the deserts, a raspberry cobbler and chocolate pudding, were delicious. Lovely touches, like a welcome sign at our table. I highly recommend.

Excellent farm to table restaurant with options for every palate. We had the teriyaki chicken and the seasonal ravioli as entrees and the crostini and gumbo as an appetizer. Delish! The wood fired vegetables had a distinct and unique flavor – superb! The cocktail menu was extensive and service was prompt and comfortable. I loved the easy atmosphere and historic charm. One of my favorite things was watching them cook in the oven through a window…it felt like being privy to something intimate and fascinating. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful dinner we had! From the moment we walked in to see our names on a chalkboard at our table, we felt welcomed. Our server Iris was a delight! Her recommendations were spot on, particularly the wood-fired walleye. The local summer produce was delicious, so healthy and fresh. I can’t recommend this place enough for a meal that makes you appreciate what locally sourced, creatively prepared food can do for your tastebuds! Don’t hesitate, go to Farm and Hearth!

Stepping inside is like stepping back in time in a beautiful way. The staff was so very nice. I believe they were all related and realy cared about this place. I appreciate the mock-tails with non alcoholic mixers. The alcohol free Old Fashions was amazing! The food is real, homemade food. The crembruley was great! You may need a reservation.

The food is amazingly delicious. We traveled a bit to get there and were extremely happy with that decision. The family run restaurant is warm and inviting, relaxed pace and local ingredients. If I lived in this area ( we were traveling through) I would be a regular. Watch for thier special events, one coming this September 2023.

Stopped in for a late dinner to relax after a week of hectic fun – was totally caught off guard by one of the best meals of my life. Everyone in our party of five was truly impressed. It’s going to be hard for them to top this experience – but I’m sure coming back so they can try!

If you’re thinking about going, don’t think – JUST GO! This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had and since I am a big foodie from Milwaukee, that should say something! We didn’t make a reservation but went on a Thursday night around 5:45pm and the waitress, Iris, (Chef Jeff’s daughter) greeted us with a warm smile. Right as we walked in we felt at home, smelled AND saw Jeff cooking in the hearth through a glass window, and I just knew it was going to be a memorable meal.
