Their sautéed honey chicken is STILL undefeated. Idk how they get the breading so crispy and still maintain its integrity when it’s drenched in that wonderful sauce. They have a variety of sides to choose from; I didn’t expect so many vegetable options in the middle of the mall. It’s not gonna be your grandma’s cooking but I’ll be damned if it’s still not good by food court standards. We survived on that sautéed chicken in college when I was there and I’m so glad to have stumbled across this place again so many years later.

Traveling thru from FL to IN. Stopped in at Riverchase Galleria mall….1st time at Farmers Basket….best food court food I’ve had in a LONG time. I don’t have a pic cause I started eating it too fast! Teriyaki chicken, broccoli, sweet potatoes, and mac n cheese…..so good!

Was looking for a quick veggie lunch and found this little spot in the food court as one of the few vendors that did not have a dozen or more people in line. Got a 3 side veggie tray for only 5.99, not a bad price for the food I got. It was hot, fresh, and well seasoned.

By far the worst food. I got 1 meat and 2 sides 11 dollars and corn bread. It was all hard and maccheese taste like water down noodles cabbage was so hard barley could chew it this is last time visiting

I have been really sick lately and doctors cannot figure out what’s wrong with me and I was frantically trying to find soup at the mall because I was working and needed to eat but could not eat solids and no one had soup. Thankfully a woman at the farmers basket caught my attention and was very motherly and sweet about it and said she made some homemade chicken noodle soup for her coworkers and gave me some. She is the reason I feel better at this moment and I just wanted to say how sweet she was and how thankful I am that she found me in my state of panic. I can’t remember her name but someone needs to give her a raise because she’s amazing. Unlike the rest of the fast food mall workers who clearly don’t want you there.

5 star rating for a mall food court joint? Yep, because Farmer’s Basket is legit. It’s 2 Legit to Quit (eating there). Get drawn in by the samples, and stay for the quantities and prices. You can literally feed the whole family with one meal (I know because I did). Two meats, and two vegetables go a long way when they pack out a styrofoam to-go container. The crispy honey chicken is not to be missed, and the fried chicken tenders are spot on. Love that you can get soul food and Asian in one spot
