Wonderful little place! A minor wait for a table, even on a Tuesday morning, but service was prompt and friendly – thank you Sarah! Food was delicious, coffee was hot. Biscuits had a dryness that were perfect for how runny the gravy was. Sausage had a bit of spice to it. French toast was Hawaiian bread but still needed syrup. Will definitely return.

Their biscuits and gravy are what dreams are made of! Pure heaven. And they’re huge! One biscuit is enough for a whole meal even though I also got the ham, eggs and grits. It was all amazing and some of the best Midwest Southern breakfast you’ll ever eat!

AMAZING food and amazing service. Foo was like mama was in the back cooking. Food did not taste frozen or bland. Staff was awsome very polite and nice. Well amount of food for the price. Definitely will be back.

The flat iron steak was good, but not exceptional. The fries were good, the mashed potatoes were good, and the bigger Farmhouse burger was great. Biscuits were the star of the show. Nothing blew me away but there also was zero issues with anything on my plate. The mason jars were a nice quirk.

We like country cooking and enjoy trying new places. This place had good food with good flavor. Our only complaint was that the serving sizes aren’t very big. However, the whole family lived it and we ended up with no leftovers. If your intown to visit you should give this place a try, it won’t disappoint. If we are ever in town again we will be going here again. Maybe next time I’ll try the onion rings and the pie.

Salina took great care of us during our visit. We had the Open Face Beef meal and Deluxe Farmburger. The Open Face Beef meal was delicious. The Farmburger was ok – a lot of bun compared to the burger patty. The sweet potato fries and fried okra were so good. Both were perfectly cooked. The gift shop upstairs was a good way to kill time during our wait for a table and kept us out of the rain.

My husband and I went to Branson, MO for a short Vaca for a few days and arrived in town on Thursday, June 29, 2023 and once we checked into our Cabin where we were staying, we began looking for a place we could eat at for dinner. As I was scrolling through the many places to chose from the Farmhouse Restaurant caught my eye and I let my husband know we should go try it and it was located in the Historical Downtown District of Branson, MO and by the photos that appeared online the food looked delicious. We arrived @ the Restaurant which was very busy, it is a small place but fortunate for us, we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Husband ordered Reg Sweet Tea and I ordered the Peach Sweet Tea and both were amazing and came in huge oversized Mason Jars to drink out of. Husband chose steak, sweet potato, baked beans, seasoned broccoli and it came with a huge biscuit, I ordered the chicken & dumplings, baked beans & seasoned broccoli which also came with a huge biscuit and the waiter, Shawn brought over some butter & jellies. Shawn our waiter was fantastic, he came over @ just the rt times to refill our drinks, have a tiny conversation to let us know our food was being prepared etc, he wasn’t overly pushy or forgot abt us he was just perfect and seemed to know the exact moments to show up. Also, apparently they have to get your food out to the table in a certain amt of time or you get (1) FREE COBBLER on them! They have Peach, Cherry & Blackberry to choose from. Myself and hubs both chose Peach which by the time we received our meal they had gone over the allotted time by 6 mins so we indeed got to choose (1) FREE COBBLER and we were so full we had no restrictions bc the (1) was FREE that we had to eat it there, we were able to let Shawn know we’d like to take both to go and they didn’t short change us and completely filled the to go container to the rim! The Peach Cobbler was amazing! Trust me when I say, this is a place to visit and eat & if for some reason there is a wait, be patient it is worth the wait for the food, service and staff! We’re considering going back sometime before end of the year and trust me Farmhouse Restaurant is and will be on our list to visit and eat @ again! I hope they stay in business for a very long time! Drop by say hello to Shawn, the rest of the Wait Staff and wonderful Kitchen Staff preparing those delicious meals and don’t forget to tip them! They do a great job!
