Had I used the ladies room before we ordered, we probably would have headed down the road. It was superficially clean but needed a good scrubbing. Cobwebs in the corner where there was obvious water damage. Waitress was friendly but we had to ask for our check and it was not busy! Saw another customer wait several minutes for their check. The food was good but unremarkable. This place used to be a gem but not anymore. The owner would do well to get some wait staff that are hard workers and committed to excellent customer service. For a Saturday morning, it was not very busy. Probably will take our business elsewhere.

Went here with a family of 25. We made a reservation a day in advance and showed up on time. Tables were set up and ready for us. We ordered and about half of us got the salad bar. You would think they would have stocked it up before we came, but they didnt. Everything quickly ran out so there was a long line of people waiting for it to get restocked. The food came out and everyone but 2 young kids got their meals, everyone else was pretty much done by the time their food came. We had 1 great server and 1 that was not very nice. But, the food was great and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This is great if you like quantity over quality. Don’t expect anything too flavorful or spiced, but do expect a chicken fried steak bigger than your head. The brown gravy tasted like it was made of beef bouillon and corn starch, without any spices. The country grave tasted like flour and milk. The bacon was deep fried, which seemed to take must of the flavor away. It filled us up, but I believe that if you want to know what country cooking was like during the great recession, come here, I don’t think much has changed.

Was ok nothing special place was clean didn’t wait long for my food. Best part was the servings , if your hungry this is the place cause they load you up . I looked around to make sure that we all had well proportions and it wasn’t just what I ordered , and yes everyone left there with a full belly. I had to go lay down I ate too much. Don’t know about the rest of the food being my first time here but the breakfast I had was good and I’ll be coming back for more . 3 stars cause it was only one plate of food gotta try a few more meals from the menu but was a good start

We travel to southern Utah every year and we plan at least one meal going each way. The food is fantastic and prices are great. If you’re anywhere close to Wendell, Idaho, be sure to stop in. You definitely will not be sorry…..

Great food, big portions and the ladies were very sweet. Plus a really cute homemade gift store. Defiantly the small farm community feel which we enjoy. We will go back when the opportunity presents itself.

I had the Salmon Burger, fries and the Manhattan Style clam chowder, all were very good. Because this is Idaho the fries are freshly cut and we’re never frozen so they have an excellent flavor. The booth seats are really low so the table sits chest high. Lol

Waited 45 minutes for our food on a Sunday morning. Half of it was cold and over done chicken fried steak.Had a group of 7 people and they charge automatic gratuity of groups of 6 or more on three separate checks. They have been going down hill the last couple of years.
