If I could give it zero stars I would. This was the absolute worst BBQ I’ve ever had & the price was way too high for the value of the food given had it tasted well. My husband & I got take-out for lunch. He ordered the sliced pork sandwich & I did the 1/2 lb spare ribs. His sandwich had no taste. My ribs were super smoky & rubbery. Not to mention that a 1/2 lb ribs equates to 2 ribs for a price of $16. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant. On top of this there was not a current menu able to be found online. I found one menu on Facebook but when I called it apparently was old. Unfortunate since this restaurant replaced Victorio’s, which we used to eat quite frequently. Wish we could get Victorios back or have Bubbalous move in here for some good BBQ.

To start some of the other reviews are correct. The place feels as if it was rushed into a new concept? They absolutely have a fly problem. Aesthetic looks kind of thrown together. I went for lunch and got the pulled pork platter. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. The seasoning and smoke is good on the food. However the meat was very dry. It had the feel and taste that it was prepared the day before and reheated. The restaurant could have promise if done right. Right now it needs desperate help to fix some major issues. If the place changes I would come back. But right now don’t go out of your way to visit.

Came here by self and had oysters they were great, decided to take my family here and they can’t bring two dozen oysters to your table, so I left with no food. You would think as small of a menu they had they could bring 2 dozen oysters out…

The food and atmosphere is great here. The employees are super friendly and very attentive. We visited for lunch and the place was not too full as it was later in the day while we were leaving. The food was hot and fresh. The kitchen made our food order quickly. All orders were tasty and perfect. We did not visit the bar area during this visit, but others in the restaurant said that it was great. The desert options are plentiful and freshly made. Our servers were very friendly and helpful, and made sure that we had everything we needed.

A few of us from work went for lunch. I had the pulled chicken platter with grits, baked beans and cornbread. One friend had the brisket sandwich and other had a pulled pork platter. They had great options on their menu (currently out of gator). It wasn’t the best I have ever had but was definitely good. I will be back again in the near future.

Great BBQ food for the price. Closer to home than 4 Rivers and with comparable BBQ, this’ll be our new go-to when we’re craving smokehouse. Brisket had excellent cuts of meat and smoking, and the large sides were hot, thanks to being straight from the kitchen. The patio was closed, but their new tables look great. Friendly service and small town atmosphere.
