I have been wanting some catfish and fixings for a while well the Fat Chance Buffett has the best I’ve had in a while. I’m unsure what this restaurant was originally but it has a fair amount of seating and moving around space. Everything on the buffet was fresh and refilled pretty quickly. The fish was not over cooked but was cut up in some odd size pieces. The gumbo was full of. Hi Ken and sausage and it wasn’t too spicy. The only thing I didn’t see was French fries and hush puppies well I guess I didn’t need them. There were several deserts and there may have been ice cream also but I didn’t get any. The staff was friendly and kept the tea glass full . The price wasn’t bad $12.95 . Good catfish good restaurant.

Friendly staff,very clean all around. Bathroom’s need some attention. Lunch Buffet Mon.-Thur. 10:30 till 2:30 pm. Dinner Buffet Mon.-Thur.3:00-9:00pm. Closed Sunday. Food…. appearance was great,well laid out. Separate Salad Bar. Hot Bar was at best LUKE WARM. Was just put out. Dry meat. Bad experience all around. Scripps was delicious if warmed not cold. Price was uncalled for. No prices listed. I personally can not return.

Food was fair to good. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and fried shrimp were good. Brisket, er not so much, pretty dry. The girls working the floor were hard workers and very nice and helpful. The little lady that owned it was very sweet and friendly. Food appearance, abundance, availability and value were all 5 stars. There’s just so little exceptionalism to reward fried food in the country eats genre. It was good for what it was.

Went as a family and we all just loved it!! The food , the people, and the atmosphere was outstanding!!!! We will be going back ! The drive is an hour from our home.. its worth the drive. The owners are caring and so friendly ❤
