My husband was working at DOW &, told me he was having lunch here. He was having the RB Po’boy. He’d said, he had it before &, it was very good. So, I decided to drive out from Denham Springs bec., I love a good RB Po’boy. We had the fried greenbeans as an appetizer bec., he said, they were good as well. Well, it absolutely was. The RB Po’boy was also fabulous. I haven’t had a Po’boy like that since, I was a teen. They just don’t make food like that anymore. I was impressed &, the hr. drive was certainly worth it to me. The dipping sauce for the Po’boy was spot on. I loved the atmosphere. I felt like I was in my element there. The wait staff were wonderful as well. I’ll definitely be making a trip back many times over.

With a name like Fat Daddy’s and being a block away from my work appointment, I had to hit up a Poboy! Had a split decision between the Shrimp and the Sharon’s Special. The waitress suggested the shrimp and it was a great choice! Was medium-sized shrimp fried well, but could’ve used an extra shrimp or two to fill out the half poboy. Unfortunately, that’s where the meal stopped being enjoyable. The fries were a soggy mass stuffed in a paper bag and the pickle tasted like used oil. Washed it down with some sweet tea.

The food has diminished in taste and presentation. The staff is changing a lot and that affects service. For more years than I can count, Fat Daddy’s has been the place to go for awesome food, service and socializing! I hope that the new owners can figure out that many people in our town do not want the menu and food to change drastically and we like to know our servers that are from our town and we love when we walk in that they know us. That’s service!

Always enjoyed shrimp when Ms. Lisa had the place. Sorry to say, shrimp was under cook. Like to take that first crunchy bite. Hope they change it.

We are here out of town working and had this place recommended by a friend. Needless to say it has not disappointed me in the least. In here for roughly a month and we have visited roughly 75% of every lunch break. I highly recommend people come here and try every poboy on the menu!

Very nice staff, darn good fried shrimp po boys, and a comfortable environment. The customers are polite and friendly folks who want to talk about whatever and with a smile. Go now.
