We don’t really swing by here on a regular basis but I can say that from trip to trip the food is very consistent. I’ve been there multiple times and I have never had a complaint about the food. The people are always super nice and even though the service is a little disorganized they do manage to get around to your table in a timely manner.

I’d give zero stars if possible. Only 4 diners when we arrived. They were eating at the counter and chatting with 3 employees. Our party of 3 sat at a table on the wall. One of us ordered a sandwich, the other two of us ordered a 3 meat dinner TO SHARE. Only our drinks were prompt & correct. The wrong sandwich was brought and had to be corrected. The 3 meat dinner was delivered, but we never received a second plate so we could actually share the meal, as requested. After delivering the correct sandwich no one came back to check on us throughout our meal. Small portions. The beans are canned, the fries are greasy, the brisket was mostly fat and the baked potato was served plain. The floor below our table was covered with so much food I could not rest my boots on the floor. We waited 20 minutes after finishing our meal for a check that never arrived before going to the counter asking to pay the bill. So, small portions, overprices, poor service and it’s not clean. We won’t be back and don’t recommend you go either!!

Most all our food was cold from the pulled pork, bake potatoes, corn on the corn and the okra was cook well over done. And never could get a tea refill. Waitresses need to know they helped each other when the other one is busy with a large table

This was a great place to eat. I got the fat daddy burger which was way more than I needed. I wasn’t super hungry but I ate half. I’m not in the area very often but I will come back. The staff was very friendly as well.
