2nd time here. Food was good both times. I like how your ticket isn’t a number, but a historical figure. Like the local art. The 1 thing I don’t like is having to get up & get my order from the counter. Especially if I order a lot of food. Other than that, no complaints

My first time here and I’ve been wanting to come here for quite some time. Today, I made it my priority to come close to when they first open their doors. I love the concept of historical facts being your name for your order. A unique experience in the state of Arkansas I have not seen before besides TX. The music playlist is amazing and it’s not too loud. So you can converse and still hear the party you’re with. Because it was my first time here, I bought the Fat Jaws Combo Sample Platter. This fish is soooo good!!! I’ve been on the hunt for good fried catfish. The wings are flavorful, the candied yams are delicious, and so is the cornbread. Glad I was able to stop in. The signature drink is delicious and awesome that you offer 2 free refills while dining inside. The customer service is amazing!

The concept is excellent. The drinks are great if you haven’t had a sweet/sour kool-aid taste in a while. Now, from these pictures, it looks amazing. The sauce on my chicken was so good but the chicken was slightly undercooked. The fish was fishy. If it makes sense. I love fish, but if it’s fishy, I can’t stand the smell or taste. I would love to try it again, just to see if it may have been a busy day and the cook was tired or what, but I really want everyone to succeed. ♂️ 3/10 I going to try again, tomorrow since I’m thinking about it

So my son and daughter in law got the peach cobbler waffles and they were amazing. I got a brunch special that came with a fried pork chop, 2 biscuit and gravy, eggs, and sausage links. Now the biscuits were definitely homemade and the gravy was probably the best I’ve had. This will definitely be my new brunch spot as I am looking forward to trying the banana pudding French toast next.

The food, atmosphere, and customer service was top tier. The peach cobbler chicken and waffles were amazing!! After our party of 3 were done eating, the manager asked how was everything. We told him our honest opinion (eggs were cold and the banana pudding french toast tasted generic – not hitting). He stated that he didn’t make it, and proceeded to go into the kitchen and remake it. It was delicious, almost like a completely different dish. I would highly recommend this spot for brunch (I haven’t tried lunch).

We came in for lunch. My lunch companions both had catfish dishes. I had chicken and dumplings and a side of Mac and cheese. The meal came with juice or tea. The juice was a bit sweet but not awfully so. The chicken and dumplings was delicious. The Mac and cheese could have been better. My companions enjoyed their catfish. I wish we could have had breakfast but we’ll just have to make another trip

This was my very first visit. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I’m not a big waffle fan, so I was skeptical. I had the savory chicken and waffles and it was absolutely delicious. The waffle was fluffy and sweet and the chicken and gravy were delicious. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I’m more than sure I will be back.
