Our server was amazing, LOVED HIM! This was my 1st time eating here, it’s a cute tucked away little place. The food was pretty good. The only reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is the fried pickles and fried okra were delicious but a little cold when they came out. Other than that, I am excited to go back and try more items on their menu.

Came here after the river boat tour. Excellent service. We were able to sample the soup; I thought that was a great perk. The food was all so good. Our server was so attentive and positive. I helped them pick something up, and they came by with a banana pudding on the house as a thank you. I’d recommend this place for a little taste of the South, in more ways than one.

Great food but service and experience is hit or miss (questionable at best during peak time). Yesterday I waited 30 minutes for my lunch order to be brought to me after I ordered. And I even tipped in advance; as all patrons are encouraged to do.

They catered a work event for us. Catered food is usually soooo bland. This chicken was moist, great selection of sauces, solid dry ribs, and decent sides. Way better than typical catering.

We stopped in for lunch after hearing great things about this place. We both ordered meat with two sides. It was probably one of the top places to get fried chicken. The fried okra, red beans and lima beans were delicious. The mac and cheese needed a different blend of cheeses as it had a weird aftertaste. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a complete vibe and the customer service was excellent. We will definitely be back and recommend.

This place is definitely a southern comfort- southern hospitality restaurant. This was the first restaurant i visited my first day in Augusta and it left a beautiful reminder to go back. I wish i were exaggerating about this but its not too bold and in your face or not too lifeless that you forget it. Great spot, great people.

This is a great hidden lunch gem in Augusta. You will not go wrong with anything you order. Personal favorite is the club sandwich. Skip the side salad (trust me). They also do wonderful catering and have event space. Have enjoyed both multiple times and been very satisfied. Located between the Enterprise Mill and the canal it can be ready to miss, but with finding!

Had lunch there today with a former colleague for the first time. I actually had no idea this establishment even existed until he suggested it yesterday. I had the meat and 3 vegetables. It was really good! I had the pot roast, and he had the pork chops.

Great experience with the catering menu. Served 75 people. The hamburger steak and pork chops were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the gravy went FAST, and the squash casserole was popular.
