Today was my first visit but it definitely won’t be my last. I along with a friend of mine who is a good brother dined in today. The owner was very personable and professional which was the first plus. The business/was clean another plus. I will obviously mention that the food/dinner (Chicago style Chicken, Cabbage,Macaroni and, Red Beans and Rice) was quite tasty, flavorful and delicious!!! I’ve seen some of the other negative reviews here but my experience was ABSOLUTELY a great one. I’ll return and bring someone with me whenever I do.

Tried Fat Momma Lucy’s for the first time and it is soooo good. The woman behind the counter said I’d enjoy it and she did not lie lol. I ordered the oxtails and seafood macaroni, or seafood smackin cheese. My grandma got the same thing with collards. The portions are great. Customer service is great. & overall it was a great experience. Definitely recommend. 10 stars.

Just had Fat Momma Lucy’s on Hwy 80 Phenix City. The Butt Dog!!! OMG!!! So good!! Enough for two people (and it comes w/ fries). I’ve been wanting to go to #FatMommaLucy’s for a while and when I saw the Butt Dog pic yesterday, I couldn’t put it off any longer. I also ordered some smackin cheese and fried okra and I can honestly say, ain’t no place in the area that has mac n cheese or fried okra anywhere close to as good. The smackin cheese is the best I’ve ever eaten!! ALL of my order was the best I’ve eaten in years. So glad I went today. And, I will now be a regular. Did I mention the butt dog? It’s HUGE, and delicious!! You’re cheating yourself to some of the best food in the area if you don’t try #FatMommaLucy’s!! And the prices are better than anywhere else, too.

I just found this location today and went there to place an order and wanted actual soul food and I wanted to support an African owned business. All I will say is the food is delicious! The food temperature, taste, seasoning, everything was just awesome. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be patronizing them again!

Oh my goodness. Let’s start off with the customer service. It was amazing. They were sold out of a lot of things by the time I arrived at 2pm. So definitely get there early. I had the fried ribs, cabbage, rice and gravy and cornbread MY GOODNESS it was soooooooo good. Highly recommend and will be back.
