Sushi was phenomenal! really glad I tried this place out while here in Michigan. Definitely a hidden gem. Tasted fresh and delicious. The vibe in the inside is pretty sweet too. The salmon was the best !

I am somewhat disappointed, I expected more in terms of portion/quality. I ordered the spicy salmon sushi and shrimp dumplings, both of which were tiny. The spicy salmon was smothered in spicy mayo, to the point where it covered the whole roll and that’s all you tasted. It didn’t feel like worth the $13 I paid for the whole meal. For that price in total it felt like a snack, and not a great one. The dumplings were tasty, but for $5 I got 6 grape sized dumplings.

Just had an incredible meal at Fat Salmon Sushi in Hamtramck, MI! The sushi was out of this world and the chef was not only talented, but also incredibly kind. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!

This is an amazing hidden gem of Hamtramck! Food is priced good and the service is kind and fast. If you are looking for a place to run to when you want sushi this is it! Will for sure be in our rotation of places to eat for years to come!

Really questionable quality. I too fell for the numerous 5* reviews but I don’t understand how that’s possible. I don’t know if something has changed lately but supermarket sushi is better than this. Not recommended.

I’ve only eaten there once, and what I can say is that what I ordered was really good and prepared well. The service was friendly. I went mid afternoon, and it was not crowded. I will update this review on my subsequent visits.
