My husband, our son, four of our grandchildren and I ordered Fat Shack burgers, wings, sandwiches, and shakes through Door Dash, late-night after a seven hour drive to San Marcos. I gave full marks for service and atmosphere, because taking away stars wouldn’t be fair. The food was excellent, especially the boneless Buffalo wings and chocolate shakes with Oreos and Reese’s Pieces. Recommended!

IDK what the other reviews are referring to. Yeah it’s a burger joint next to the university. Good location. Fresh food. Well done meal. There’s no .99 cent menu. It’s a local business who serves good food and open late. Your NOT going to find better around here. Would recommend if you’re close.

I think the food was over priced for the quality. The restaurant was not especially clean and there was no sweet tea. Evidently this is common for San Marcos. The staff were not unkind, just a mediocre food quality. If you don’t cook often or you’re accustomed to frozen food instead of fresh food, it probably is fine. If you do know how to cook, it fits the bill of food quantity. You definitely won’t leave hungry. The quantity is good.
