I am big on trusting reviews. I was told about this place but skeptical to try bc the ratings were not high enough for me. After my 3rd visit to the city, I finally decided to just give it a try. I am so glad I did. The entire experience was great. The service was EXCELLENT! The place was clean. We were greeted right away. We let her know that it was our first visit and she brought out 2 tenders and the fatz sauce to try. I ordered the chicken tenders and popcorn shrimp. It just melted in my mouth. The flavor was great and the fatz sauce is really good. I also had the baked potato soup. It was very good. I added just a little salt and pepper to it but no complaints there. Oh and the rolls they are so good, fresh, soft, and they come with a cinnamon spread. This restaurant is a must try. My son goes to college in town. We will definitely be back again and again.

Awesome experience! Thanks to the manager Tavis, who made sure everything was great. Service was great. Food was even better the Patty melt Ive ever taste. Those fried pickles and ranch dressing…. BUSSn We will be back. Also had salads and the were crisp and on point!

Delicious food and atmosphere. Awesome ribs and salad. Other guests had steak, pork chop, etc. No one complained. Our server, Alphonso, was super. He handled our party of guests virtually by himself and got the orders right. Throughout our visit he remained friendly and attentive. We will be back. Parking was great, too.

The food was horrible my chicken was old and burnt my broccoli was overcooked it look like IT HAD been out for a day. Then when I came back to complain about my food they take it as I was wrong. I would advise everyone not to go there.!!!! I’ll go to irmo for now on. Forest Dr is a joke!!

Ordered fats togo. Everything was ok except my husband’s meal; blue ridge chicken was charged black on both sides. The restaurant tried to hid it by smothering it with toppings. It was awful. Tasted rubbery and couldn’t even cut it or chew. Can’t believe a kitchen would send this out and expect it to be ok. Just another reason not to eat here again.

When you look at menu, all look delicious. However, meal was not enjoyable…the rib was the worse I’ve ever tried in my life. It was just not delicious. One thing I liked about was a chewy appetizer bread. It was the most delicious thing with spread in the restaurant. But they don’t serve it anymore… Salmon meal was good though.

Had a party there with about 25 people and we only had one waitress the whole time with a 2 hour time frame. We were actually ready to go on time, but the waitress still had to finish passing out checks and take up some people’s money. So to make a long story short, the manager at the time did want to give me my deposit back. He said it was because we ran over on our time. Not to mention that the floor (carpet) was soaking wet with water coming from the air conditioning unit. I spent 30 mins telling him it because they had know one helping that poor waitress! Other should of been at least two people serving our large group! We get the deposit back, but I know I won’t be going back to that Fatz Cafe anymore!!!

On March 6, ten minutes before closing our party of 7 came to eat after a church service! Let me tell you the whole team was simply amazing to the server, cooks, and management team! We got treated so special, with such great attitudes, and it was a Blessing to get quality food and great service! Highly recommend this one to everyone! We were out of state and we felt so appreciated by them for being in their restaurant! Thank you so much again!

I’ve been here last year Father’s Day and it was absolutely great. This place is under new management and it sucks really bad. Please do not come here until a new management has taken over. This place was not busy and it took us over 2hrs to get our food, that my niece started eating the butter. When we got the food our steak was dry. We finished eating our food and still haven’t received our salads. I believe our waiter is secretly Bat Man out somewhere fighting crime between serving us. This place use to be always packed so we was happy when we got here to find that it was barely empty. Apparently the people who come here regularly know this place is bad and stopped coming. We had to figure it out the hard way.
