Fats Cafe offers a sectioned off dining experience with cemented flooring and a wooden bar. The menu is large and versatile enough to edit and modify your meals. Lauryn was our server, a friendly person who was just as enthusiastic as we were about the taste and look of the food we had received. It was musical and dimly lit at 5:45pm. Great fun and tasty All-American cuisine.

This was my first time at Fatz with some family members. The manager came and greeted us because she heard it was my first time there. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable on the menu and at the top of their game when providing anything we needed (refills, extra napkins, etc). They brought me some of their tenders, on the house, to try because their calabash is what their known for. Absolutely delicious! I will eat here again and recommend to all my friends and family.

I should have left after the first 15 minutes when the waitress still hadn’t showed up to take our drink orders but I decided to wait it out. It wasn’t very busy so I figured it wouldn’t take long to get our food but boy was I wrong. We ended up waiting for over an hour to get our food. I practically had to beg for silverware and that didn’t show up until after the food did! I would have to say this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in long time. The food that wasn’t cold was burnt, the service was slow and lackluster, the table was sticky to the touch when we first sat down. I was hopeful when I saw the menu but very disappointed by the product I received all the way around. I will not be going back to Fatz.

Most of time they are fast and on the ball. Occasionally you’ll have to wait 15-20 min on every little thing (even if they’re slow). Everyone is friendly and nice though.

This is our “go to” place for the best bone in wings in town! We got there pretty close to closing, sat in the bar booths and had great service as is typical, hot tasty food and a great spinach chicken salad as well. See photos attached.
