Clean and comfortable. The staff is great! The food is cooked to order so it does take a little while. Prices seem a little high but you get a lot of food. Salad, bread, and dessert are included. I love the stuffed bell pepper. The egg rolls are a great appetizer. If you’re in a hurry, this is not the place to go, but if you want to spend time with friends or family in a great casual dining atmosphere, Faubourg’s is a great place.

Awesome place,friendly staff & great food. All of my food came out hot with heat!!! Stuffed bell pepper, eggrolls & milrton dressing was very tasty….stuffed fish was next level. All of the dressings taste different ..even the french fries on the seafood platter was will be back soon.

I wanted to like it but it was a big NO. Service was ridiculously slow. Appetizers took about 20 minutes. Lettuce in salad was brown. Ordered steak medium and it was well done. Baked spaghetti did not have enough cheese. Complimentary cake tasted store bought. Waitress very nice but inexperienced. Yaka Keon was good and steak was tasty although over cooked.

My husband and I went here last night, a Friday night, and I was hesitant at first. When we see Creole we tend to get a little scared. Lol. Most, who claim to have authentic Creole in the area, are seriously lacking.

Weird…just weird all around. Mother in law was in town for the first time and we worked up an appetite scavenging Jean Lafitte Preserve and decided to stop in for a bite on our way back into the city. We walked in and there were literally no customers and there was an awkward period until we were greeted and seated. After we sat down, a waitress came over and asked if we were ready to order. First of all, we JUST sat down and glanced at the menu…didn’t even say hello, her name, ask if we’d been there before, didn’t even ask if we’d like drinks first. I had to say I think we need a minute to look over the menu but could we get a few waters, please? She looked confused but obliged.

I want to say the environment itself makes you feel at home. You can tell the staff put there heart and soul in the food. The way the food is presented shows that they put time and effort to look like a masterpiece from visual to taste you get what you are looking for from the moment you walk in and you get your money’s worth. They will be seeing me again so I can have more of there heart filled meals.

I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and steak. The dinner roll was so moist didn’t need butter. The meal was very tasteful. I did not have to add any additional seasons.
