Nice place for a day trip. Lots of animals and things to see, eat, and do. I like the cool coffee shop and bookstore.

Thought about this for awhile and I am good at three stars. The entirety of this place is pretty and well set. Looks like a town from Gilmore Girls. Having said that, we orders a soup and grilled cheese from the main restaurant on site and it took 1 hour and 9 minutes to come out. Maybe they’re milking cows and grinding wheat back there but that seems too long for those types of items. Plus, it’s not cheap. I would like to stay at the hotel one day but my first visit left a sour taste for now.

Looking for a place to spend the day or enjoy a staycation in the Raleigh area? As a realtor in the Triangle Area, when clients ask me for recommendations for where to go for a day to enjoy the area, I always recommend Fearrington Village. It is a beautiful English-inspired village in the countryside of the North Carolina Piedmont. They are a destination for award-winning cuisine, boutique shopping, a whimsical bookstore, a luxury inn, and a relaxing spa. It’s a great place to spend the day meeting their barnyard friends and exploring their gorgeous grounds and manicured gardens!

Quiet English style village with quaint charm. Three eating venues, great bookstore, shops, spa and a lovely park planned by experts.

I used to love taking my wife here, we even spent our wedding night in room 1. I’ve gone back about once a year since and it’s just in a downward spiral, I am so disappointed to see what little is left there as a destination. I can no longer recommend this place, from 5star to barely 3star. So sad.

I love walking around this village. There are cute shops, restaurant, bookstore, furry cows and belted goats. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes.
