A micro-small town, Ward, hosts an old-school steakhouse. Check dates and times before you go because of limited hours of operation. Holds more customers than you might think from the main street view. Thick ribeyes. It seems that they tend to cook the steaks more than usual. I will order rare next time. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and a great night out while you support a local business.

We made reservations for 5, place was full by 520! Great food, great service. We had just got done eating salad bar and food came. We ordered Ribeye and prime rib with the onions and mushrooms, and loaded hashbrowns! We live 45 miles away, so with the trip!!! Make reservations if you want a table!

I ordered the sirloin steak and everyone else’s meal was delivered and was then told they forgot to cook it. When I finally got it, the rest of the family was just about done eating. I ate 2 bites of the steak and it was not cooked medium like I ordered. It was dripping blood. I informed the waitress and requested it be taken off my bill since the rest of the family was done and ready to go. Well, they took it off but them charged me for soup and salad bar, of which I had no soup and only had a small lettuce salad from the salad bar and then also charged me separately for a baked potato. All that was part of the steak meal, that they couldn’t get right. Very disappointed and will never go back.

Had reservations at 7 got seated about 730 couple of us had to go to bar to get drinks sat about 25 min before waitress came for drink orders. Ordered food then went to salad bar. Almost 50 to get food. I ordered bacon cheeseburger I only took 2 bites and couldn’t eat it. Had such a bad taste to it. Waitress didn’t say sorry because she never came back to check on us. So paid for a meal I couldn’t eat. Will not go back again.

A little slow on service, about an hour to get food. And the prime rib really did not have any flavor, salad bar was great. Will try it one more time and try something different and hopefully it will have better taste.
