AMAZING FOOD, service and drinks!!!!! Melanie was an absolute angel sent from the restaurant heavens. She made sure all our needs were me. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, fresh, and my steak was cooked to absolute perfection, if not, BETTER. the drinks were so refreshing. overall, the whole staff in this establishment were TOP TIER. after dinner, we went upstairs and had one more drink on the rooftop. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a great, peaceful, scenic, delicious night.

The first thing about Terra e Mare that caught my attention is the atmosphere, just a vibe! Overlooking the water with the NYC skyline is just beautiful and relaxing. As soon as me and my friend entered, the young lady in the front had us seated right away. Everybody was extremely nice from the busser to our waiter Steve that made sure we were well accommodated. The appetizer Pane E Ricotta was really good and can be shared between two people. I ordered the Chittara Al Nero that had shrimp with clams It was decent, I needed it to be more flavorful with more spices. My friend ordered the salmon and the Patata Croccante. She enjoyed the Croccante but salmon lacked flavor but was good enough. The prices are rational not too expensive but can go over depending what is ordered. The meals are good portion size based on what was ordered. Overall, a great experience I definitely would recommend for a light date night or a nice dinner in town.

Very lovely atmosphere, overlooking the NYC skyline. Our waiter, Steven , was attentive and offered his best services. Executive chef on site, Matteo Limoli curated some very delicious and well-balanced meals. Right balances of salt and heat made such an impression on us that we will definitely revisit this fine restaurant again

This place is dazzling! The view is so special and the ambiance is really nice and welcoming. The staff was very sweet and caring, but one hitch was that they seemed a bit unorganized. For example: we had 3 different people ask for our drink order. The food also took a while to arrive. But those are just nuances…. Everyone was giving us great recommendations and made sure we enjoyed our food. The spinach was a bit salty for my liking. The steak and the lobster were delicious and you must try the hazelnut chocolate mousse. Seriously it’s incredible! We enjoyed our experience overall and it was a great once in a while treat, we will be back!

Spectacular meal here on a gorgeous late summer evening with an unobstructed view of lower Manhattan glittering in the distance. Started with the beef carpaccio- beautifully served between layers of shatteringly crisp house baked Sicilian crackers and a gorgeous vinaigrette. The eggplant parm is delicate, subtle, meltingly delicious- last time I had one like that was in Rome. I had branzino in a saffron clam broth ( just gorgeous). We also ordered the pasta with sweet sausage and broccoli rabe sauce- so beautifully plated, long tubes of pasta ( so unexpected!) discretely sauced. The pastry chef is wildly talented and her lemon panna cotta is something I could eat daily. Well worth the trip to Port Liberte in Jersey City. The staff is wonderful and all help to make the dining experience memorable. Don’t miss this place! Really fine dining in JC.

A first-rate NYC caliber restaurant on the Jersey side of the Hudson! The place bills itself as a steak and seafood venue, and their offerings are really superior, but, for my money, I’d come back for the desserts. Unbelievably tasty, well-made, unique and piquant pastries and ice creams. Take a look at the photos. The strawberry-basil sorbet was inspired, with the fresh basil puree giving the strawberry a light touch of mint flavoring. The sorbet dessert came with three scoops, so we had the vanilla-cherry ice cream and the blood-orange sorbet as well. All were exceptional, but the strawberry-basil really stood out. My wife had the lemon panna cotta, a cold Italian custardy dessert, and being a former restaurant pastry chef herself, knew what she was requesting. She said it was exceptional, and I agreed. We, of course, had steaks and they were wonderful, but the desserts were really something else.

Amazing. The new chef (Italian) and menu is is exactly what this fantastic location needed. We try to go once a week, even if just for wine and pizza but truly enjoy the even more creative delicacies like beef carpaccio like you’ve never seen or the savory donuts that melt in your mouth. All whilst staring at Lady Liberty and the NYC skyline in the flailing waters of the Hudson. Priceless. Gem. Must try.

The atmosphere was terrible, we were seated next to the bar in spite of plenty of tables being open on the other side of the restaurant and were subjected to a pre-wedding cocktail hour that just continued to get louder and louder. The food was hit or miss. We enjoyed the steak and the ricotta but the pork belly pizza was more like soup than a pizza. The runny egg itself would have been ok but it was accompanied by grease making it impossible to pick up a slice and eat it. I was looking forward to whatever dessert menu they had to offer but by that point in the meal my ears were ringing from the bar crowd next to me so we didn’t even inquire. The staff was nice, and they did take the pizza off of our bill as it was mostly untouched. Not the anniversary dinner we’d hoped for, we won’t be returning.
