By far the best Mexican restaurant to grab drinks in Wichita. Nice quiet location overlooking the lake. Nice outdoor patio area. They always serve you chips with hot and mild sauce. Cazuela is the go to drink if you’ve never been here before. They serve it with a flame. Really cool experience. I love their enchiladas. The charro tacos are a great plate and can’t get it wrong with that order. So come and experience Felipe’s if you’ve never been!

Didnt care for this place too much, our order was wrong and someone tried to deliver someone else’s order to our table. There are mostly tables, not too many booths if you like a little seclusion. Food wasn’t as tasty as other places to me.

Had a great birthday day and just wanted a nice laid back dinner. Went in at 5 and it was perfect. It was still happy hour and my wife said you go first birthday boy and I never gave it a second thought but at the end of the meal Martha came out with a nice little treat. I wish I got a picture of it.

The facility and staff were great. The food was okay. Better than other “Mexican food” options, but the margaritas were extremely disappointing. The first one tasted like it was all pre-mixed and not in-house kind of way…. The second one was sooo spicy! I can do spicy, but if I wanted to eat a jalapeño while drinking a margarita, I would have asked for them separately.

This used to be my family’s favorite place to go for birthday parties for years and years but after tonight, I doubt that will be the case anymore. We had made reservations earlier in the week and weren’t told prior that there would be any weird rules or the exceptions for our larger party. This has never been an issue for us before.

This is always a great experience. The food is good and the staff is friendly. It’s not quite the same experience as the original location off West Street, and the food isn’t quite as good. Mostly, they don’t quite take care of you like they do at the original location, but it’s fun and great for the whole family and large groups too!
