Fera’s is a Downtown jewel for lunch during the work week. Like a time capsule from the past, the unassuming deli serves up fabulous sandwiches, soups and other lunch staples at unbeatable prices (i.e., a turkey sub with finely sliced – almost shredded – turkey breast and all the fixings for $6. Upgrade to a large roll for $1, same for a bag of chips). You’re going to get this meal in less than 5 minutes from when you place it, and even if the line is 15 deep (common between 12:00-12:30), you’re still looking at a 10 minute wait max. The small seating area is all that you need and is covered wall-to-wall with incredible Buffalo memorabilia (and not the stuff from Tully’s, the kind of personalized stuff you want to walk around and stare at).

Stopped here for lunch. Its relieving not having to drop $10 to $15 on a lunch. These prices were affordable for a sub and hit the spot. There was also a lot of cool memorabilia/historic photos of Buffalo and the shop’s history

My co-workers and I come here at least once a week for lunch. Can’t beat the freshness for the price! They cut the deli meat to order, and I’ve never had a sub that wasn’t delicious! Highly recommended coming here for a quality sub for a great price!
