I had the most wonderful dinner here! I have food allergies and the owner was incredibly kind and helped me make appropriate substitutions to avoid my allergies and then she spoke with us for a bit while we aired for our order- she’s so nice! I love the decor, the staff is incredible, and the food was delicious! My friend and I will absolutely be back.

Super rude waitress same girl but on multiple occasions. Only open 4 hours a day and gets irritated when someone comes in a whole hour before closing. Has said they are too busy when there is several open tables and not even many people in the place. La cantina their biggest competitor is blowing them out of the water in service and hospitality. The food has always been really good but the staff has just taken a major hit. Will not be going back.

Alysa and I try to visit every December 23, for “Ferds on the 23rds”. It’s a ritual that her friends have had since 2007. Different friends every year, depending on who is in the UP at the time, but always a great time to catch up. Food is always great! Highly recommend!

The staff were friendly. They had one waitress with a lot of customers. She kept a positive attitude despite all the requests she was getting from all the customers. The food however wasn’t very tasty. The chicken that came with the fajitas was dry and the only flavor I got was lemon or lime. The rice lacked flavor too but the refried beans were yummy.

The food here has always been over-rated, but was forced here again for a dinner party. I haven’t been here in a while and was more disappointed than ever. Extra charge now for chips and salsa. The waitress messed up all the orders. The cracked out cook also messed up on beef vs chicken that was ordered for sdveral in the group. Definitely will not be back. La Cantina much better.

Ferdinand has slipped in their overall service. The food is tasty and the portioned about right, more than enough food for dishes like the super wet burrito and burgers, but the service is definately lacking. I understand they are understaffed as there was one server for the whole restaurant the last 2 times we ate there. This last time the quality of the food was better than last time, but it is a hit or miss.
