Perhaps I am not a Peruvian conniseur but I know good food and good sazon (taste). That said, presentation is good. Food was terribly bland. I was disappointed tbh. BUT, everyone and everything deserves a second chance Service was great. And cleanliness was on point. Again, not well versed enough so will try again for posterity. Price is a bit high for the quality and overall presentation.

It’s ok! If you want something cheap and it’s the only restaurant open, you can go to this place.

Of all the Peruvian restaurants in and around the Downey area, this one is the best. The ‘lomo’ meat dish that is made with fries was so delicious, it was tender, and the juices from how they cook the meat are so tasty. This dish, if made correctly, is proof of knowing how to make Peruvian food – and Fernandos definitely knows what they are doing. The bread and salsa (particularly the green salsa) are a great start to the dining experience. The inside and setting is modest, it’s not high end food but the service was quick and friendly. A place to take the family for sure.

We had an enjoyable dinner here tonight. We have never been here before and decided to try the Parrillada Mixta for $40.

Went here for lunch. Lomo saltado was ok. The pasta was bland. Alfredo sauce seemed homemade but was lacking flavor. This location is a bit expensive. The service was horrible. Waitress ignored most of the people and we had to flag her down for everything. Left a tip that she didnt seem too happy with ($6 on a $35 check) as we were leaving we said bye and thank you and she completely ignored us.

Today I had my usual favorite at Fernando’s, tallarin con milanesa de pollo. It was the BEST I’ve ever tasted! The tallarin had a perfect pesto flavor that reminded me of Corniglia, Italy. The Milanesa chicken was so flavorful and juicy I had to finish it here. No leftovers. At least I can take the spaghetti home for lunch. Everything was DELICIOUS.
