Oh my GOODNESS!! Best dang deli on this earth. Big thick sandwiches n they haven’t changed since day one. The place is always packed. Opens late n closes early, so u best get there b4 3 pm! I ordered the hot ham n cheese with spaghetti salad….I ordered by phone n my order was Rady in 30 mins as they said. It was piping hot.

A must try in Oakdale Ca. 10/18/19 Delivered to my work. Food hot n fresh. Pastrami with mushrooms and roast beef with mushrooms. A co worker and I mixed n matched. Great food. 12/2022 visited Oakdale to see Xmas parade. Couldn’t wait to have family try food here. Everyone happy.. of course. Friendly service. Pistachio salad a hit!

My favorite place in Oakdale and being from Sonora, I shouldn’t have a favorite place in Oakdale. Alas, the spaghetti pasta salad is amazing and I will always stop if I’m going through Oakdale. Try the avocado cream cheese and sprouts sandwich with your choice of ham and turkey; I will guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

I arrived at ferrareses 25 minutes before they closed, the place was packed and there was a few people in line ordering and picking up. So I waited in line for about 10 minutes. I didn’t mind it, because it was my first time, so it gave me a chance to look over the menu. When it became my turn to order I told the lady at the register what I wanted (1 sandwich) she stopped me before I finished talking and said “oh are you ordering?” I said “yes, it’s my first time here.” She then proceeded to tell me that they stopped taking orders 10 minutes ago. Even though I just saw her take someone else’s order a couple minutes prior and While they are still making sandwiches right in front of me. She didn’t offer an apology for the misunderstanding or lack of sign that states they stop taking orders 25 minutes before they close. Nor did she offer to tell me there business hours and days. She just said “yeah, we stop taking orders.” Then proceeded to turn around and keep working. So I left and with a sour taste in my mouth about the experience. It’s unfortunate because I’ve always heard high praise about this place but don’t think I’ll be coming back.
