I don’t give 5 stars often. I feel to truly earn a 5 star not only should the food be good but the service should be good as well. That has been very tough to find both. Well done guys. The food was authentic Mexican food, not “TexMex” as the manager pointed out. We really enjoyed ourselves and you can tell the passion the owner/manager has for the fresh, from scratch food.

I always walk pass this restaurant as I’m leaving the mall & tell myself I’ll try it next time I’m here. I finally made it in & I’m kicking myself for not coming in sooner! Tex mex has its place but when looking for authentic this place is a MUST! The Mole was rich in flavor, we devour the azteca soup before we realize to take a photo lol along with the birria tacos it was that good. The mango habanero sauce was sweet and not over spicy. The service was amazing. Will be definitely coming back!

A rare find inside of an outlet mall there is nothing lacking here! The owner personally helped us select the most delishes wine from Mexico and gave us in depth information about his menu. We both had one of the two versions of snapper and it was the best fish I have ever eaten. I will definitely be back!

The staff was friendly, the restaurant was fairly basic (to be expected in a mall) but the food was bland, not at all what I expected for authentic Mexican cuisine. The steak was hardly seasoned at all, the vegetables were lacking freshness. The Elotes were subpar. Very disappointing especially for the cost.

Like every other review before me, this was an easy 5 star review! Authentic, delicious Mexican food! My kids loved the chicken flautas (which were presented so well), and my husband and I couldn’t pick our favorite taco because they were all amazing! Some of our favorites were the beef, nopales(cactus) , and tinga. Support a great small business in Katy Mills Mall (Entrance 8)! I’m already dreaming of what I’m going to get next time!
