This place is not worth it for multiple reasons. I paid $21 for a combo protein dinner (steak and shrimp) plus chicken. The cost was too much for what they served. The bland steak had to be one of the cheapest cuts they could find and the vegetables tasted very old. The chicken was the only protein that actually had mild flavor. I’m leaving an honest review because from the looks of the other reviews you’d think this place was great but it absolutely was not. I feel like they serve the same items you would see at a chinese restaurant for triple the price and nowhere near the same taste quality. The 1 crunchy shrimp was good but the 1 jalapeno popper was not… that price was for 1 of each.

**** HIDDEN GEMS! F&F Japanese Grill is an exceptional restaurant that offers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that sets the stage for a remarkable meal. If anyone is looking for a high quality hibachi meal with a very reasonable price, this is your go to place!

Came here to try once and now I can’t get enough of it. Tons of protein with chicken and steak. Veggies are great! And the noodles taste really good too! Gotten to know the staff as well over the last few visits! Super humble family who cares about great service! For sure a long time customer!

Quick and easy ordering! Menu has a wide variety. We ordered steak salad and super bowl (shrimp). Steak was a little salty and the shrimp bowl was over-sauced but overall taste was good!

I was excited to try this new Japanese grill in Frisco and was really hoping for a home run here, but alas, it was not. We tried the edamame (definitely not fresh), the shrimp hibachi with noodles and veggies (the shrimp and veggies were good, but the noodles were tasteless linguini. The last time I checked, the Japanese only serve linguini if they own an Italian restaurant), and the chicken hibachi with fried rice and veggies (the chicken and veggies were good, but the “fried rice” was rice with soy sauce. Where is the egg? Where are the carrots and peas?). Overall, it was a swing and a miss for me. Next.

I didn’t expect that much before visiting this restaurant.

It’s nice to finally have something different than another fried chicken place or taco stand in Frisco. The restaurant is a little small inside and noisy, but the race car theme, tables and decor looked unique.

I wanted to love this place but just wasn’t impressed. The biggest frustration was being charged over $2 for tap water. Ridiculous! To top it off, it tasted nasty and I dumped it. The salad I got was alright. I should have realized the salmon on it wouldn’t be cooked, which is why I didn’t care for it. That is my own mistake, I suppose. Just not impressed with this place.

I love that they cooked the meat fresh so it wasn’t cold/old. The noodles were amazing! The people were nice and efficient.

This was the first time my wife and visited this new establishment, and it is the last. The service was awful, one of the workers insinuated I was stealing a beverage after clearly ordering and paying for the beverage a few minutes earlier. The food was disappointing, considering the location here in Frisco I expected better. The rice and chicken was over cooked and the shrimp and chicken was too salty.(over seasoned). One worker was behind the serving line eating while orders was being taken. They earned this one star.
