Although quite entertaining reading through the reviews, I’m glad we didn’t read them before ordering for the first time, we probably wouldn’t have ordered. This place was brought up by a co worker so a group of us placed an order. Even after a 20minute ride back to the office, the food was amazing! Buffalo chicken panini, thai chicken wrap, and a variety of salads – everyone enjoyed their orders and we’ll be back!

Didn’t like being called “Bro” and referred to as such the entire time I ordered from the guy at the counter. Uncomfortable and unprofessional. My portions were too small for a large salad. I could get a bag of Fresh Express lettuce from the next door Harris Teeter for 1/4 of the cost! The restaurant itself seemed kind of dirty and it was desolate for 1pm. Not impressed. Service, portions, and ambiance not up to par.

Although the salads are amazing, the place is not clean. While you’re waiting for your food, if you look around, it’s just not sanitary looking. It makes me think that if that’s what you can see in the front of the restaurant, what does it look like in the back. I would love to love this place but can’t get myself to get past the overall cleanliness factor.

Currently dining in Fields of greens and all the tables are dirty. The man behind the salad station rushed me even with no one waiting in line. Even after telling him it was my first time, he wasn’t friendly and seemed ready for me to hurry up and move on. Put my food in a to go box instead of asking if I was dining in when there are multiple tables full of people eating lunch. I added sunflower and almond seeds to my salad for an extra $1.29 each for less than half a full 2oz cup. Paid $11 for a small salad with little lettuce but it does taste good. Only vegetarian option is to make your own salad in which you will pay easily over $20 if you want more than just your average 3 to 4 veggies.

First time customer. Ordered Asian wrap, chips, and drink. It was delicious. Very clean , bright facility. Would definitely have again but mabe wo the wrap. (Save carbs/calories) There is limited seating so come early, and be respectful of your time.

I love the make your own salad bar but there are 2 things I would change. If you get it tossed it really should be tossed with the Lettuce and not just the toppings tossed. Also charging extra for veggies seems like overkill. I think its a dollar per item but if I want a little bit of olives and mushrooms I can’t imagine half a handful being $2 more

Three years ago I rated this place 5 stars. It’s gone downhill. Not one employee wears a mask while making the open-air salads. The salads do not taste fresh. Two basic make-your-own salads (one without dressing) + two cookies was over $25. And when the manager spilled half the salad when packing it into the bag, he said “oops,” and when I asked if everything’s alright, he just said “oh, just be careful with the bag.” When I got home I found out he’d spilled half the salad, didn’t offer to remake or add to it, yet I was still charged full price. All of these occurrences were the last straws. They’ve lost a regular customer, and I’m out to warn others.

Love this place. I have been coming here for 10 years now and I have not once left unhappy. I hate to see all the 1 star reviews and castigation during the pandemic. Go to subway or quit being lazy and make your own salad if you have a problem with the way someone else does it.

I’m writing this completely independent of the fact that the employees are taking zero COVID precautions, let alone general sanitary food handling methods (no gloves while handling prepped and finished food after immediately ringing someone out). The food I ordered was incredibly disappointing. If I’m going to pay $8 for a panini, I’d at least hope that the sandwich is warmed all the way through and the cheese is melted. The buffalo chicken panini is bland, the chicken used was cold and chewy, and the cheese was still cold. The problem with pre-prepping paninis and refrigerating them is that you always run into the “cold in the middle” issue by the time you toast the outside, take some time and make them fresh. This was the first time I have visited and will be the last.

Great food and fresh as well. I ordered a create-your-own salad that included five toppings. Total cost was $8.50.
