So I was in La Crosse for a family member’s funeral. I met up with one of my best friends for dinner. I hadn’t seen her in a couple of years. So we went to Fiesta Mexicana for dinner. One of my favorite places to eat. I haven’t eaten there for maybe 10 years. I am not sure. Anyways we ate there. And the food was delicious and came out in good timing. The staff were attentive and I love that. When I got back for a visit. I definitely have to go back there or takeout. And I forgot to take pictures of our meals. Sorry about that.

I had the arroz and pollo. It was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Served with warmed store bought tortillas and somehow even their tortilla chips were awful. There was peas in the rice and the red sauce tasted like watered down tomato soup, absolutely zero seasoning and the chicken was either boiled or microwaved and the mushrooms looked like they came out of a can. Regardless there was no flavor and nothing that I would recommend. I wouldn’t be surprised if my lunch was microwaved. Awful. Couldn’t eat it.

This place is so amazing. There is very cute seating outdoors, but the seating inside is also very cute. The service is amazing, all of the employees are very kind, and the owner always makes an appearance to make sure everything is going good. The menu has a wide variety and there is also a vegetarian section which is great! There is also a lunch menu with great prices. Overall, this place has great service, food, and ambiance, along with fair prices.

I found the food very bland, flavorless and colorless. It was very disappointing, especially since the prices were higher. The chips were awful. Did I catch them on a bad night? I also asked the server several times if there was a certain ingredient in an item we ordered, and was told no. Someone in our group took 1 bite and realized there was an ingredient that they were allergic too. After being told no. I had asked the server several times!!! We left quickly and went home, and then to ER.

This place is just down the road from my apartment. I went there last night for 2 for 1 margaritas which they have Monday-Thursday, SUCH a great deal and they are delicious! Also got nachos with no meat since I’m a vegetarian and they were slathered in cheese and beans and pickled jalapenos and were exactly what I was craving. The staff there is very friendly and attentive and check in with you frequently! Can’t wait to go back and sit on their patio on more warm days.
