I came here with my wife for dinner. The menu was sticky, and my wife’s menu has a couple globs of dried salsa so we had to wash our hands a second time. Then we check our utensils and there’s dried food debris on it so we asked for more. In my soda cup, dried debris on the wall of the cup started to dissolve into my drink. I pointed this out to our waiter who made an annoyed expression and then started whispering to other staff as they laughed and looked at us from a distance. Um, sorry because i wanted clean eating spaces? I believe they were talking about us.

I’d eaten here before and noticed the food was better and the drinks had alcohol. Last night it was very busy, the salsa for the chips was good, the service was decent. We got frozen mango margaritas that were delicious, but no noticeable alcohol content. I didn’t know Mexican food could be bland, but my dinner was. The red sauce tasted like it came out of a can, reminded me of spaghettios sauce. The tamal was so dry, and the Chile poblano was runny. I won’t be returning.

Simple and effective. Nothing flashy. Good food. Only issue is last 2 times we were there our waitress did not understand English well enough to take our order effectively and messed some things up…but other than that, our favorite Mexican place in holly springs.

We love to try Mexican restaurant all the time. My daughter and I were out in the area and decided to stop and try it. The food was good and large portions as you can see by the picture. It was not as authentic as we used to and I love horchata and it did not taste like homemade it taste it like a mix. The waiter was nice and great service. Food came out fast. The only thing I did not like is that the music was a little too loud and we couldn’t hear our conversation well. Other than that it was good.

Slow service both times we’ve visited. Seem to be a lot of customers sitting around waiting to pay. I’m one of those people that can feel the tension in the air. Food was not great for having to wait so long, but drinks were good. The best part of the experience seems to be the greeting at the front door. The men at the door should help the waitstaff. Feels like a male dominated culture from the 1950’s. Men standing around socializing while the women work circles around them.

Best table salsa I’ve ever had! Crisp chips. Super friendly staff. Steak and shrimp meal was very good. I was pleasantly surprised about the Chile Relleno; great sauce, good beef/cheese filling. The Chicken Quesadilla was delicious; lightly toasted in butter, moist and flavorful shredded chicken. The Tostaguac could’ve been placed separately so it wouldn’t get soggy from sauce but ingredients were good.
