This has been an overdue review! Fig & Ash Restaurant is an absolute gem that should not missed if visiting Pittsburgh! From the moment you step through the door, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. Whatever you order will be a fantastic treat. The menu boasts an array of dishes that celebrate locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, and even house milled grains. Did I mention they have a wood fire! The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of each dish is truly remarkable. The service here is top-notch, the waitstaff is friendly, accommodating, and always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions you may have. Fig & Ash should be at the top of your list for any occasion. I would recommend reservations as they are usually booked. They do have limited seating in front of the open kitchen, which is fun if you’re lucky enough to snag those seats!

Friendly staff, yummy food, gluten free options. We enjoyed the corn fritters, swordfish, pork chop, a pasta dish and the brownie.

I would highly recommend, it’s a small menu that changes every so often. I think that allows the chef to have the time to put the quality into these dishes. Everything I had was delicious, satisfied with every bite. The drinks as well. Be sure to make reservations even if it’s a random weekday. It’s a small space, so it can fill up quickly.

Overall, a very high quality dining experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and above our expectations. One small thing is that the dining space felt a bit compact, and was not exactly quiet due to how busy the restaurant was. We had a hard time hearing each other from across the table. However, aside from that, we had an excellent time, and our server was extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely want to visit again!

Ambiance is unique, music was perfect volume, drinks were delicious, bathrooms were clean, food was… not great. We traveled a good bit and were very excited for Fig & Ash after reading the menu.

Great spot, wonderful service. We got the oishii shrimp and couscous, and the pickled blackberry to start (pictured). They were so good. For dinner we got gemella with lobster and hangar steak. If you’re thinking of going, please go.

This restaurant was AMAZING! Came to Pittsburgh for a game with no idea where to eat for dinner, and we are so happy we ended up here. The cocktails have very funny/cute names and the food…….WOW. We got 2 small plates for apps and large plates for our main course. They portions were HUGE, and so delicious. The staff was great, alexi and Corey being the stars of the night. If you have been considering coming to this place, you should go. I’m currently still full from dinner last night!!

Service at this place is incredible! We never had empty glasses, and the staff had no problem checking with the chef about allergens. Our lovely waitress brought out a candle for the birthday girl, even though she couldn’t have any of the desserts. They really go the extra mile. Every dish we had was outstanding. By far, the table favorite was the Campanelle. Cocktails were delicious, and the atmosphere was delightful. We will be back for some more Campanelle, and this time, I won’t be sharing!
