Food was amazing as always the waitress we had was amazing great personality and really cared about her customers and her job! The only problem I had was the temperature it was pretty cold in there but I understood it because the staff are running around like crazy making sure everybody was happy. What can I say. They just cooked me the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had in my life!! And I’ve had my share. Usually from the Monticello location. I often write these to tell others how great a place is but everyone already knows. So this is for the very polite servers and cook(s). Thank you so much for the obvious love and passion you put into your food. FILIPPO WOULD BE SO PROUD!! My family and I will definitely be seeing you soon. The 2 and a half hour wait is worth every minute! I’d order dinner directly after lunch if it’s what has to be done. A+++ Thanks again

This place is the ultimate hidden gem!!! We stopped by on our way from IA to NC for a quick bite while we stayed in the campground up the road & absolutely did not expect this to be SO delicious and the owner/staff to be SO friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone- get the Mediterranean pizza and cheesy garlic bread if you want to rediscover a love and appreciation for life!!

All I can say is the most consistent pizza you will ever get everytime I go it’s top notch and baked to perfection . Well worth my 38 mile round trip drive to know I’m getting what I expect every visit especially as a carry out customer. I would have added a photo but we always eat it before we think hey let’s take a quick photo.

First visit to Filippo’s (and Mahomet). I was at first disappointed that the inside dining room was closed. However, I was offered a table outside. Despite the cool weather, I decided to eat outside rather than drive my pizza back to Champaign. Staff (Mrs Filippo, I assume) was super friendly and helpful. The pizza was delicious. Unique spice blend gave it a different, but really good flavor. Based on the steady stream of pick up orders, I’d guess they are a very popular local pizza place. Make sure you have cash, as I don’t think they take credit cards. I’ll definitely stop in again next time I’m through the area.
