My hubby is always on the hunt for new places we haven’t been to and came up with FIN. if I were to best summarize this place, it would be that it’s great food with OK ambiance. But there’s something to be said about every restaurant in LA being held to crazy standards without serious financial backing when all that really matters is good food. And FIN has a lot of great dishes.

I’m so glad to come across this place. Hostess was great. Food was great. Waiter could improve on his service, check his attitude when a paying customer asks what products you carry. The other staff delivering our dishes were alot friendlier and courteous.

Great date night spot. Close to LAX as well which was convenient as we we’re getting dinner before picking someone up. Would recommend the mezcal cocktail and the yellowtail nigiri. Fair pricing for LA and we ended up getting quite a bit of food. Keep in mind lack of parking if it’s a busy night. Overall would recommend to friends especially if you like Asian cuisine!

Happy Hour everyday from 5 pm to 6:33 pm! Definitely a quick one, but worth making to get some small plates that are good for sharing. I went here with some friends and enjoyed the dishes, vibe, and service. It can get pretty busy so definitely know what you want ahead of time!

Edit – came back and our service was horrible. Service both other visits were very slow, but tonight was even worse and our server was barely there. Our food took over an hour to completely come and it took our server that amount of time to realize it. No comp on our bill, and there was a mistake on our check. Food is good but not worth this poor of service.

The worst experience I think I’ve had in a while. I placed an online order for the Baked Crab Roll. The menu states the roll is made of claw crab. As I was on my way to pick up my order I asked if there was imitation crab in the roll. The hostess said yes. I asked if there was a way I could substitute another roll same price as I could not have imitation crab.

Won’t be going back here. We arrived for our 5p reservation. We were told to wait at the bar instead of seating us at the available tables that were ready for us. There was no bartender at the bar so we couldn’t order anything while we waited. We were finally seated at 5:15p. The waiter doesn’t say anything to us till 5:30p. After taking our order the staff proceeds to bring us cold miso soup. The rest of the food is warm but subpar. Worst bathroom set up of any restaurant I’ve ever been too. This place was a real disappointment. I definitely would not recommend anyone to come here.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to dine it. I lived in Japan for years and this brought back memories. From the sushi to the lamb and filet mignon. Perfect. Every dish was amazing, with every employee being extremely courteous and pleasant to engage with. Kudos to the entire team, I’ll be visiting again soon!
