They seem to be trying to turn this place around. The interior was clean and decorated simple but elegant. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable but couldn’t get the wifi to work. I showed up for the brunch menu and asked I could get the lobster roll and they accommodated. It was wonderful and the shoe string fries we an excellent compliment and very large portion. I’m a fan of this place and the food and hope they succeed. My only concern was a lobster roll, fries and an ice tea set me back $60.00 with a 20%tip. Could have save $30 by walking to New England down the street.

Great restaurant on A1A finally. Walked in and we were welcomed warmly. . Sat in the cozy dining room lots if action. We enjoyed chatting with the tables near us. Service was friendly and precise; especially Chris who looks like someone from a Hollywood movie. Very knowledgeable about wines. The food : Great menu, interesting international choices. Everything was great. Loved the Bandeja platter and my wife had the seared #scallops cooked perfectly. We got a reservation for next week. Try it now because I’m sure during season it’ll be a a difficult reservation even with the back patio being open and the Outdoor oyster bar in front.

Absolutely fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant. Clearly we started eating before we took the photos. Can’t recommend this place enough. Wife ordered filet, and even though it came slightly under done, they took it back and it came out perfect and re-plated less than 3 minutes later. Dessert was amazing. Can’t wait to see what they come up with in the future as we WILL be back.

Went for dinner this last week and really enjoyed my experience. Started off with the lobster Rangoon (incredible) and the big meatball (delicious). For entree I had the short rib and my buddy had the 36oz ribeye. The short rib was one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted hands down and my friend devoured his steak. As Arnold said in the 1984 classic, Terminator, I’ll be back.

Not what I was expecting, but much better. Small place that hits a casual elegance sweet spot with wonderful service and excellent food. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming and everything we’ve tried in the two times we’ve been has been wonderful. Enough that we went back twice in one week!! If properly supported I think this place may be a real gem for dining in Melbourne beach. Nice outdoor bar as well.

Incredible food! The catch of the day was perfectly cooked and the lobster pasta was delish. My only feedback would be the wine pour. Stinks to pay $15 for a glass of wine and get less than a 4oz pour

I found Fin & Smoke an extremely pleasant experience. My wife, myself and some friends made dinner reservations the first week it opened.

My husband and I came here this evening for my birthday. The atmosphere was fair. The tables were very close together – the staff was barely able to maneuver between tables to take orders and serve food. Several tiles on the ceiling were missing as they had fallen off (they were glued on). Our waitress did not seem very knowledgeable of the menu, which was limited, and they were out of some things. We ordered Lobster rangoon as a starter. Plenty of meat inside but they were way over fried. My husband ordered the Pollo Rustico and they were out of that so they replaced it with fried chicken. $30 for fried chicken and very over cooked brussels sprouts. I ordered the Kalua pork lau lau which was supposed to come with sweet potato and water chestnut sticky rice. When served there was no rice, but instead a potato salad of some sort and something with raw fish and cut up tentacles. I thought maybe I got someone else’s food but I didn’t. I asked a different waitress for some rice and asked what was on my plate. They said they were short in the kitchen and weren’t sure what happened. The fried chicken was not good. The pork was not good. The food was- not good. Our waitress was aware of our experience and no alternatives were offered. The waitress brought the check back and forgot to give me my card so I had to ask at the host station for it back. There’s nothing worse than spending over $100 on a meal an feeling like you’ve completely wasted your money… especially on your birthday.
