First time at this tucked away gem. It will not be my last. Food was delicious, waitress was amazing. Reservations recommended. Check for hours. Friday hours were 5:00-9:00 pm only.

We were venturing in to Omaha and “Googled” places to eat, Finicky Franks came up. We saw that the ratings were pretty high and decided why not?! It is a cute little restaurant (reminded us of the little neighborhood restaurants in MN), does not seat too many so I would suggest reservations. We were able to get right in w/o reservations and sat outside on their patio. My husband and I each had a drink, he had a beer and I had a mule. We started out with the Brie in puff pastry served with lightly candied walnuts, apples, and a cracker with a seasoning similar to “Nothing but Bagels”. (Quite honestly we would have just had the apples and not the crackers.), nonetheless it was delicious! We then shared a side salad with a vinaigrette and pasta with bolognese red meat sauce. The salad was mostly spinach with a little bit of lettuce, croutons, olives, and onions, it was just fine. The bolognese (red meat sauce) was tasty, could have had a little more seasoning, but we were not disappointed! The service was impeccable! Overall it was delightful and we’d highly suggest to try it. (As others said, a hidden gem!)

Charming place off the beaten path. Service was very good and the scratch made food was fantastic. Adult oriented so no noisy kids. Beautiful bar. Menu is somewhat limited but dine to perfection. Some of the BEST Walleye I have ever had. Loved it and will be back!

This place is a hidden gem. We loved what we ordered and portions where very generous. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The staff all were very friendly and Melissa was a great server. We will be back soon to try some of their nightly specials.

The table was sticky, we got shoved into the storage corner, a bus girl tried to remove a salad, the special was not offered when being seated, and the fresh flower water needed updated.

This is my favorite restaurant of all time. I can eat anything on the menu and know that it is going to be fresh and full of flavor. This chef cooks with love and passion. Her staff is so warm and friendly. You come in a customer and you leave as family. She definitely has a gift. I am grateful for the blessing.

Last night I had the absolute privilege of dining at Finicky Frank’s for the first time! Instantly I was taken with the beautiful decor and adorable patio. I can’t wait to come back and sit on the patio!! We started with the truffle fries and Frank’s classic pizza. Both were delicious. Our boys devoured every bite. My husband and I shared the steak enchilada which was nothing like an enchilada but everything you could hope for in flavor and the Reuben which might have been my favorite part of the whole meal! The coconut lime margarita was the perfect drink to compliment the food. Next time we will definitely save room for dessert! Everything sounded so delicious. We just moved into the neighborhood and we can’t wait to come back again and work through the menu!! I thought I knew all the hidden gems in Omaha, and I’m glad to be surprised by this find!!

Eat here. Lots of great menu options. Always thought the team was nice and took their craft serious. I have never had a bad meal here, I have been here for sure more than 10 times throughout the years, and moreso lately. The presentation is great. I did see some recent pithy, low reviews about how the restauant handled kid screaming and swinging around decor – get over it. I don’t go out to eat often, but when I do, I don’t want to sit next to some little brat, hellion, monster child with parents who can’t / won’t / don’t control their kid, ruining it for everyone else. Get over it, be more considerate, everyone else is spending their hard earned money and trying to enjoy themselves. If your child isn’t table trained then be more proactive about their behavior or go eat at Burger King, where nobody cares about anything. Finicky Franks rules, and now I want to go there even more knowing they won’t let some cluelessley rude family ruin the experience for everyone else in the restauraunt. They protect the vibe and I respect that, because it is literally part of the reason I go there. Great food, great ambiance, great crew.

Let me tell you – the service was outstanding. Everyone we came in contact with was so cheerful and pleasant. One of our party of 6 is really into gin. Our server brought the bottle over from the bar and explained where the gin was made, the flavor notes, etc. My gin loving friend was so impressed. We ordered the chicken dinner, served family style. The chicken was cooked perfectly, moist on the inside, crispy on the outside. The sides were amazing.
