I had the “Fastest cop in the west”, 1/2lb. Burger loaded with yummy ingredients on a pretzel bun. This is a place where you can really have the burger your way ! I mentioned to waitress that I was on a quest for the best Rueben sandwich. It wasn’t on the menu but she suggested a delicious alternative with thinnly sliced rib eye. I ordered it to go. Thumbs up to the cook !!

Fantastic food, tons of options, and great, friendly staff. This will be a must stop for me on my way through Velva every time from now on. I was a little skeptical of that “voted Best Burger in North Dakota” sign on the front on my way in. After eating there, I’d suggest that they make a larger version of that sign to plaster on all avenues that enter and exit town.

Small place, but amazing food and service. The chicken sandwich was fresh and cooked to perfection. Build your own burgers with plenty of options and lots of sides to choose from. They also have specials on specific nights, wood fire Saturday, steak Thursday, etc. Definitely recommend going out of your way to give it a try.

We passed through town both Friday and Sunday and stopped. On Friday my husband and I had burgers and fries and they were fantastic. On Sunday we had the mac and cheese bowls. They were so yummy. Patsy waited on us both times and she was very good. I would recommend this place to anybody. Good food and good service. It was a treat, thank you.
