Took my girls here for the first time. It’s a small place with only 4 chairs. Tiny but the service is really good. We ordered red chicken, shrimp tempura, and chicken dumplings. We enjoyed it. Only rated the food a 4 because the chicken wasn’t really crispy. Everything was good.

Flavorful is the takeaway. Quick service and just the right amount of seasoning for a lips macking meal. We were so hungry when we opened the boxes that we completely missed taking pictures. If you love Korean food, spicy food, and need something that is sure to fill you up Fire Chicken is the place to be.

Out of all the Korean style fried chicken places in St. Louis there are three that stand out far, far, far above the rest. O! Wing Plus, Kimchi Guys, and THIS place. The chicken gangjung, aka fried pieces of boneless, white meat chicken tossed in sauce, is the star of the show here. I’ve tried all of the flavors and their original “Fire Chicken” is easily the best with a tranquil balance of sweet heat. It’s a sticky jalapeño and soy medley that keeps you coming back for more. The runner up would be “Buldak”, a famous Korean chicken flavored hot sauce, which is a spicier version and a tad more on the savory side with mild sweetness. This one isn’t for the faint of heart. If you love’a the spicy then this is for you. The chicken itself is very high quality, perfectly cooked, and the batter is thin and crispy. The combo is $14, garnished with green onions and little fried pieces of batter which is a very welcome addition to the texture party. If you’ve driven past this place a million times thinking “I should try that one of these days” then don’t hesitate. Just go. You won’t regret it. 9.3/10 clucks.

Pretty good! Tried the fire chicken. I’d give it 5 stars if the chicken was just a tad bit more crispy. Next time I’ll order the sauce on the side to see if that makes a difference but it was really pretty damn good regardless. Young lady that worked the window was pleasant and the food was prepared quickly.

For a couple of years, I have heard how fire FIRE CHICKEN is but they aren’t necessarily conveniently located to my Central West End place. Tonight, I happened to be near them and after passing them, I was reminded of the many times I have heard about how good they are…so I reversed it into their parking lot and went inside. There I was greeted by the nice woman behind the counter. She offered recommendation: “order FIRE if it’s your first time.” So I went with the Fire Chicken Gangjung and Deep-Fried Spicy Pork Mandu. I could not wait to make it back home to the CWE. There I ran in, washed my hands and opened the styrofoam carriers (wish they were not—plastic ones please!) and to my absolute pleasure, the food is delicious and truly fire! The fire level very much has major kick and its hotness left my tongue and lips with a sting—oh so good though—loved the intensity of the flavors! I’ll be singing the praises of FIRE CHICKEN now!

Cute take out spot serving crispy chicken Korean style, and boy do they serve up a meal! The amount was generous, and my leftovers still had a crispy bite several hours later. I ordered the chicken fire style and the sauce was so delicious, and the rice was perfect and had complimentary toppings. So sad I don’t live in STL, this is such a gem of a place!

Incredible customer service, and the food is even better if you can believe it! Fire Chicken Gangjung was a firecracker of flavor, the spicy pork Mandu was cooked beautifully. I highly recommend giving this spot a try if your in the area and not too far from the airport about 15min.
