Karl helped produce some great barbecue for our wedding and even prepared and cooked a bunch of salmon that we caught for the wedding too. His prices, customer service, and product were all top notch. It made the catering process easy and enjoyable!

The Fire Grill was a great experience! The steak kabob with the corn elote hit the spot after a long walk down the spit. Carl, the man himself, was also a great host not only engaging with us but also tending to the grill packed full of goodies! If your looking for a meal on the beach and good vibes head over to the fire grill with Carl. He won’t disappoint!

We were drawn in by the smell of wood smoke and were pleased to find tasty, fresh food with a great view. We tried the beef, chicken, and pork skewers and all three were tender and deliciously marinated. Highly recommend if you’re out on the spit looking for a quick meal.

Incredibly lovely place to eat! Went with my grandmother, sister and mother and it was fantastic. Fabulous service and the food was amazing, I’m not one for Mayo but I enjoyed the street corn greatly and I highly recommend eating here if you get the chance too. You also get a lovely little view of the bay which is a bonus 🙂

The combo plate is the ultimate beach picnic experience: Kabob of your choice, elote, and a dry rubbed fire roasted potato still in the skin. Each bite better than the one before. Stop reading this and go eat!!!

Do you want delicious kabobs? Well then you’ve stumbled onto the best place to feed that need. Not only will you get the chance to eat some tender and well marinated meat, but you’ll also get to be surrounded by the sweet sweet smells of the wood grill. Also, do yourself a favor and get the elotes. It’s top notch and worth the space in your stomach.

Spotted Karl’s spot on drive into Homer. Glad we stopped. We tried the beef and the shrimp kebabs both were delicious. We were also treated to some recommendations for hikes and adventures. Two thumbs up.

Don’t miss this Gem if your passing through Homer. Great food, atmosphere and people. Would definitely recommend, stopped by on a windy day since line was short and no one wanted to be outside…and was blown away by the food. One of the best meals I had while in Homer. What more might I say, go check it out!
