Just love this place. I keep going back all the time to go to a simple menu so it’s not hard to decide what you want. You want to go smaller? Get the bowl you want to go big or get the plate. Got a couple of interesting sandwiches. Some delicious juices if you get a drink. Definitely recommend you get the island rice every time.

We were visiting the Reagan museum and found this place as we were headed back. Took our chances and were not disappointed. The volcano salad and bowls were great. And the child’s was free!! All the greens were fresh. The rice tasty. Everything flavorful.

The food is delicious and made fresh. The serving sizes are enough to share and my favorite sauce is the Jamaican Jerk, it is a little sweet and then it kicks. They are a bit on the expensive side and the selection is not expansive, but definitely worth the try. Make sure to check for your sauces before you leave, they have a tendency to forget to put them in your bag.

Food was delicious, their mac salad is a favorite to my wife that is picky. Their chocolate macadamian cookies are amazing too. All I wish for for this restaurant is to serve better fish, talapia isn’t a quality fish. They should sell Hawaiian Style Poke and Tuna. It’s more fitting and appropriate then the not so exciting talapia. Anyways the food I had was the Fire Island Bowl with island rice, char-grilled chicken, veggies, pineapple teriyaki topping and all the seasonings. Another sauce that made it great was the Thai-peanut sauce. This bowl is worth returning for and I’m happy we ran into this place after visiting the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

If you’re looking for some really good food at a very affordable price Fire Island Grill in Simi Valley is it. The food here is always fresh and delicious. I recommend the Fire Island Bowl with Char-Grilled Chicken, sautéed veggies, half Island Rice and half Island Noodles. My favorite sauce is the Lava Flow Peanut, but if your not into spicy go with Pineapple Teriyaki. The Pineapple Chicken Sandwich is also very good.

One of the rudest managers I’ve ever come across. Upon arrival, it was clear that the online order I placed for a local office the night before did not go through. It happens – technology can suck. But the staff started trying to remedy the issue as quickly as possible. That said, the manager was wildly short and snippy with me after simply asking for any time estimate for the order to be ready; and I quote, “I dunno – you want me to say four minutes and fifty two seconds? It could be five minutes or it could be ten. You clearly can see they’re working on it.” After this comment, he simply walked away. Without ever tasting the food, I already know I won’t be returning. The condescending stance this manager takes toward customers makes me worry for his staff. I’d highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
