The food is always great. Omelets are just like Chris used to make. The pizza is one of the best in the area and we have a lot of great pizza choices in North Branch. They have a great staff Theresa has been one of the best servers in town for years. The reason I’m giving four stars is we often go in on Sunday before or after church which is always busy, however, they are often understaffed forcing people to wait. Stop in and I assure you that you will enjoy your meal and appreciate the reasonable prices.

Omelet was crisp on outside and very gooey & cheesy inside, you might just love it. I don’t like crispy eggs myself. It was a huge omelet though and well worth the money. The hash browns did not come with, only toast. I liked the hash browns, sadly that portion was much smaller. Service is good and the place was clean.

Took 15 minutes before we were even greeted, they weren’t to busy either. Had about 6 tables with 2 waitresses. Finally came over and took our drink orders and the creamer was bad, so I sat for 15 minutes with bad coffee. Had a waitress come over and ask if I wanted a refill. I told her I wanted a new cup because one, the creamer was bad and two, the coffee was clearly cold. She never came back. The other waitress had to get it for me 10 minutes later. The tables are filthy dirty with plates and cups and there was then only 4 tables in there. Forgot my sons chocolate milk, and my eggs were over cooked. I’ve worked in the restaurant business for 12 years and the service here is absolutely horrible. I will never return and I will make sure I let people know about how horribly this place is ran.

The worst thing a customer can do is come in minutes before closing. I did ask if the kitchen was still open and the owner gladly let my crew of four in to eat. The food was good, prices fair, service excellent and it was a clean cafe to eat in. I may drive out of the way in future trips just to grab another burger to support good businesses like this.

Last month (6-23) I went for birthday breakfast with my family and my dad. The waitress took our order and we never got the sausage links that I ordered and they tried to bill us for them. We ordered home made Texas toast, we got store bought. We inquired as to why this was, we were told they ran out.

Stopped in just before close, which I wouldn’t normally do, after a long sporting event at the high school. They took great care of us and food was fantastic. Owner even came over to chat with us. If we come through town again would definitely return. Thank you

What a great place. The service was friendly and fast. The food was delicious and priced very fairly. And the entire place was very clean. We will definitely be coming back to North Branch to eat at the Firehouse Cafe. Thanks for a wonderful lunch.

Food was ok. However if your going to charge nearly seven dollars for a chicken and bacon wrap you might want to at least give a pickle with it. Just putting the wrap on the plate cut on half is kind of a weak presentation. However the sandwich did taste ok.

I was in my way back to Cass City with my mom from a doctors appointment in Lapeer. We did not want to deal with lunchtime traffic, so we stopped in North Branch and tried the Firehoise Cafe. The restaurant was clean, service friendly and food was tasty and promptly served. We will go back!
