Wings were delicious and the jalapeno mozzarella sticks were amazing. Definitely will come back again before I graduate at NLC. I’m always looking for delicious hot wings and I think I found the place. Also the flaming hot sauce was really good. Waitress was also great. Always coming to the table to see if anything was needed. Also they have my favorite beer Irish death by iron horse brewery. Thanks again!!

Food was good. I sense they are understaffed… only one server working the dining area over lunch on a Saturday. So be prepared to wait. I appreciate that their prices are more reasonable than a lot of places in this area.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Our family and friends have been supporting this bar and grill for over a decade. The service, owners, and staff are absolutely horrible to deal with. We came in with a group of 18. We were told if we push tables together there would be an instant 30% gratuity. We have pushed tables together for the past 10 years with no issues!!!

I ordered the Ruben. It was a little different than what I’m used to. It had grilled onions on it instead of kraut. It was still very good. I also tried one of their buffalo chicken wings and it was crispy, the way I like my wings. The poor waitress was by herself at lunch time and was trying to handle about 10 full tables on her own. Our drinks sat empty and not a whole lot of opportunities to ask for refills. I still tipped a generous 20%. Coming from prior service industry myself, it sucks to be slammed with no help! One of the unbusy bartenders should step in and offer at least refills. The prices, amazing! This will likely become a new lunch spot for family/friends!

Last night a large group of us walked in to Firehouse to grab some food and drinks after a rough evening. When we got there we asked the bartender if we could scoot a couple of tables together as there were plenty available. She informed us there would be a 30% gratuity if we did. This seemed a bit steep so we turned to talk with our group to determine if that’s what we wanted to do. Another staff member walked up while we were talking to ask if we had a problem paying the 30%. When we said it did seem a little much, he informed us that we should have called ahead to reserve space. We had tried calling twice but no one answered the phone. If this is their process and expectation, they should answer the phone when it rings so these situations can be avoided. He then stated that if we had an issue with the gratuity, ‘there’s the door’ while pointing to the exit. I have never seen such a rude statement or interaction from someone in this industry. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere and will continue to do so. None of our family or friends will be returning. If this is the way staff treat customers who keep their business running, they don’t deserve to have them.

This is a good spot especially if you want to catch a game. The food and service was good. They have billiards and shuffleboard.

When we walked in, there were 3 or 4 tables with people at it. The waitress was walking around to those tables but didn’t acknowledge us. Since it was our first time here and we didn’t see any signs to wait to be seated, we sat in a central location and watched the waitress bring food to one table, go clear another table, go check on folks at another table walking past us several times but never looking at us or acknowledging us in any way. After several minutes, I finally got up and walked over to her and asked if we needed to order at the bar since this was our first time here and she said no, she would bring us menus, so she did, we picked out food, then waited again while she did her rounds and then chatted with someone else behind the bar and finally came over to take our order. We ordered off of the 6 for 6 menu. The food was okay. I had a club wrap. There was a very small piece of bacon in it which I could barely taste. Tortilla shell was slightly burnt but still edible. Maybe a 3 star for the food quality, as it was mediocre, but what really killed the deal was the lack of service. We specifically drove to this place to try it out during our lunch break from work and we won’t be back.

Menu has changed over the years. They used to have a great grilled spicy chicken sandwich but have only fried chicken sandwiches now. Last week was very disappointed because they were the only ones with Fried pickle spears not chips. They were the best and we frequented quite of then for them.. Last week they were like slivers of pickles very small and mostly batter. Very disappointed. No need to keep going.
