Go anyplace but here for food. Only 2 people in front of me, but took 15 minutes to get to front and the worker walks away and starts ckeaning and opening boxes. Several employees in a back room meandering around. After 10 minutes and a long line, we started asking is anybody working. I said my plane is boarding and the response was oh I didnt know flights were going to leave? I ordered an Italian she said they didn’t have it so I ordered a steamer after 5 minutes a person cane from back to do my sandwuch and said did I want italian or steamer? Huh? She said the italian is quick. Whatever. I go to eat, its just meat and cheese and missing lettuce, tomatoes, onions,.. missing meat. The worst

This place is located inside Jacksonville Airport, near gate C5. Around $8, you get a small, half sandwich. Small Portion, high price, but considering its location, can’t complain. But, employees there will mess up your day. No greet, bad attitude, so slow, just chatting with others continuously,… if you get to stop by this place when you are in a bad mood, you might end up punching him. So, I recommend byppass this. One.

This locally owned company makes a pretty decent sandwich and does it fairly quickly. They hire staff that are usually friendly and good natured. The quality of the ingredients could be better and I especially dislike that their whole wheat bread looks like a slightly darker version of there plain white bread. Something a little healthier, maybe with seeds or real grain would be appreciated

Ordered a turkey bacon ranch on lettuce since unfortunately I can’t eat the bread. Attaching photo of what came out. No bacon, no condiments and no pickle spear. Was not even busy. It’s already depressing having to miss out on bread, but this was just a pathetic “meal”. And the lettuce was full of bread crumbs so people on the plane might hate me later. Should have just bought packaged food in the market instead.

Ordered a cheese steak sandwich. Worst I’ve ever had. Meat was tough and chewy. Sandwich was wet and sloppy. Took 3 bites and threw it out.

It’s my first time here and the food is actually quite ok. We got the Smokehouse beef and Turkey subs and they’re not bad at all. Sure the price is a bit high but that’s expected. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews here. I like them and so 5 stars.

Careful with your orders, if you have a food allergy leave time to double-check your order before your flight. Overall the value for the subs is good and the ingredients are healthy for the price. We did have trouble with the order however.

Took >30 minutes to get my sandwich with only 2 people ahead of me. Staff moved so slow, which is challenging in an airport environment with flights to catch

Fly constantly into JAX. The new firehouse by gate C5, has this cashier that completely disregards hygiene, by simultaneously handling the register, money and food without changing gloves. When asked to change gloves after touching money and the register and then touching food, she completely catches an attitude like she’s annoyed by being asked to change gloves. Completely disgusting, you don’t touch money/register and then handle food without either washing your hands or changing gloves.

When I order a hot sub, the expectation is that it is hot when I order it. To my dismay, the bread was cold and the contents of the sandwich were barely above room temperature at best. I ordered the veggie sub, and it looked like it may have hit a skillet for all of 5 seconds. Im usually a fan of Firehouse subs, but this sandwich was a huge swing and miss. Paying north of 12 dollars for a poor sandwich and soda is criminal. I was hungry, and yet I threw half of it out. I’m sorry, this was a poor experience and I cannot recommend this particular firehouse.
