Went to this place Saturday night and saw some of the worst customer service. A man asked for ice twice and a server just ignored him. The man finally got a drink with no ice. I would never want my parents or grandparents treated this way. This server and I had a few words about how to treat customers. Another person in the back kept visiting two of his friends in the table area that brought in drinks you can’t buy there. The three high school boys than went into the bathroom together, hum. On a brighter note the sandwiches were good.

I have to drive 40 miles to get a Firehouse Sub and it’s worth it. I always get the steak & cheese. Make sure you fill out the survey on the receipt and bring it back next time for a free drink. It saves a few bucks.

For the second time in a row, my husband has ordered jalapeños on his sandwich and both times they weren’t put on. Of course, he doesn’t find out until we get home which is 75 miles away. The sandwich was great otherwise and so was mine. We’ll still continue to go to Firehouse Subs every time we go to Kearney!!!

10/5 service since I can’t put ten stars. I asked the guy what he liked and ask if he could make it for me and it was the best decision ever. Great guy that took my order. Very clean place, definitely recommend the brisket sub. Super friendly people. F the people that give one stars. they also have gluten free options too!

The staff has ALWAYS been genuinely friendly and consistent, never having made a mistake whilst also being pleasant to deal with, a cohesive group, efficient, thorough, and building subs with even consistency through the sandwich my orders complicated and customized. Product is undeniably high quality, this coming from an individual being from NYC frequenting the “best deli’s in the world.” Management must be very effective as staff are seemingly very content working there and doing a great job at their jobs. This has literally been 100% of the time during a time where this is extremely rare. I hear individuals complain about the price. I will be so forward in this review that I insist this is absolutely false. For the price it is literally the best experience from staff to product you can have. Every facet from cleanliness to staff to product their moral agenda is great. Though all staff has been great, today the service provided was from a Todd, whom made a complicated order to near perfection with ingredients spread evenly with great portioning, and a Tomeka with and upbeat personality, kindness and attentiveness that RARELY do I ever see, emphasis on the RARELY. Both during downtime would find tasks that needed to be done earning their wage and seemingly going well above and beyond in a time where that is seemingly a lost art. Compliments to all staff and a management team that has steered the entire team in the right direction. Always a treat. Keep up the great work. You have a frequenting customer that literally has 0 complaints. I will leave you with a partial quote from a ski instructor character in show South Park: If you eat at any other deli in the Kearney area “. . . you’re gonna have a bad time.” Literally and figuratively food for thought.

Tried calling first time I was hung up on second time I was put on hold drove all the way there and ordered it in person while still on hold and the place was dead other than two people waiting on food.

Will not be back!! Cashier did not greet when walked and was more worried about replying to her texts on her cell phone that she was trying to hide on the counter behind the register! Talked to the manager and he did nothing except say oh well have a nice day.
