Reliable sandwich stop in Hammond. Have come here several times – always good. Most recently had the philly steak n cheese. Was tasty. I always feel like the medium is a little small for the money but overall it’s a good lunch and you won’t do much better anywhere else with costs these days.

Super rude ladies working 6/14/23..ordered 30 mins before close and they had attitude about that fact loudly and verbally, repeating “15 minutes left”. Was given the completely wrong sandwich and didn’t notice until home because they basically forced me out the door. Made to feel a bother for getting a drink because they were cleaning the machine, & they locked the door 15 mins before close with customers inside. Close the place earlier if your employees are so miserable in the last hour.

This particular location has been on the decline for some time now. Terrible customer service and horrible attitude from the employees that you won’t find at any other Firehouse location or likely any other business, for that matter. VERY slow getting orders processed even during non peak times. It’s start with the management and ownership and if changes aren’t made, you can start the clock on this franchise location. There are far too many other quality restaurant establishments in this community to patronize and spend your hard earned money than put up with rude and disrespectful employees and a substandard dining experience.

I don’t believe I’ve ever been to a Firehouse subs where my business was turned away. I walked into their store and not a soul inside customer wise and I was told I can put an order in but it would be 25 minutes before they could even get to it. Wait what? A staff of 5 ladies and they tell me they can’t get to my order for nearly a half an hour. Absolutely wild. Never experienced that before. Hard to believe a staff of 5 can’t manage walk in customers and call in orders at the same time.

Not the best firehouse I’ve been to. Understaffed for the level of business that was present causing super long waits for the food. Upon getting the food both my wife and mine were not correct per the order. Staff handled fixing well but just very unimpressed with the super long wait and then to have my sandwich be wrong when my order is literally meat and cheese super straight forward. Probably not going to be coming back to this one anytime soon.
