I love the variety of flavors and everything I have tried has been great. My favorites are the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket, the Sweet & Spicy Meatball, and the Spicy Cajun Chicken. Their chili is also really good. If you are looking for a nice balance between spice and flavor I highly recommend the Spicy Cajun Chicken. I often use hot sauce but with this sandwich the flavors and heat are on point without any additional condiments.

I love firehouse subs and have had it numerous times which is why I chose to order it tonight via Yelp. I ordered two sandwiches and two chips for delivery, however, the chips were not in the sealed bag and our sandwiches were cold. I called grub hub (who delivered the food) and was only issued a refund for the missing chips – not resending my chips. I was told we would have to re order and pay the delivery fee AGAIN for Firehouse Subs poor oversight. I know it was not initially grub hubs fault because the bag was already sealed, but the whole situation was very disappointing.

I have been going to the Richmond road firehouse for a couple years now, and I order the exact sandwich every time, a Jamaican jerk turkey, and consistently they always forget what I order, put something on the sandwich that I did not ask for, as well as leave the sandwich in the back and forget it’s there leaving the sandwich cold and not even offering a cookie or drink because of the mistake. Go to the firehouse in nicholasville, I know the owner and the service there is much better.

First time trying and to be honest was disappointed. We ordered online and my husband marked no tomato on his sandwich but I wanted it on mine. They put tomato on his but not on mine. There was almost no sauce on the bread (mayo/deli mustard); not sure if this is standard and I just need to ask for extra or if this was just a sandwich maker issue. I did see the banner on the website saying some locations may not be able to provide lettuce. Which is fine. However, when we got our sandwiches they literally had 3-5 lettuce shreds (thin strip of lettuce) between the top and bottom of the sandwich. If you only had 3-5 shreds to give me it probably would have been better not to put it on at all. We both also checked that we wanted a pickle but didnt get them. The food came fast and it tasted good, not sure if it was a delivery issue as some places slack on their delivery orders versus customers standing right in front of them so maybe we will try that next time if we try them again.
