I came to this location around 7pm, the open sign was on and it says they close at 9pm on the door (see picture attached). I walked up and the doors were all locked and a young guy came to the door asking if I had an online order. I said no and he shrugged his shoulders and said “Sorry, we’re closed” …. at 7pm. If you’re going to close early or lock all of your doors and only do mobile orders, put a sign on the door &/or turn your open sign off. I went to Jersey Mikes instead because that’s ridiculous.

i came in around 7:15 pm last night with my 3 kids and was greeted with a smile as i walked in, by the young brunette man at the counter. He was amazing in helping us decide what to order as it was our first time at the restaurant. our food was fast and perfect. he even made the kids laugh. firehouse subs in garner is our new family favorite and we will definitely be back. props to the kind gentleman at the counter last night for giving us an amazing experience!

We ordered on the app and my wife’s sandwich took 45 minutes. People ordered in person ate and walked out while we waited. I spoke to them several times. They said everyone else was ahead of us. We did not get angry very often at a restaurant.

I’m have been a fireman for 12 years and have never seen customers turned away. We went to the firehouse sub next to Lowe’s on Fayetteville rd and Mechanical Blvd to take my parents who had never been to a firehouse subs. We arrived at 8:20pm. And we were told by staff that they were closing soon and would only be doing take out orders. The door says they close at 9pm. And said they started cleaning already. Very disappointed in service as our group was 6. Will not be back.

I have been frequenting this shop since I began working in the shopping center a few months ago. In that time, I’ve grown to greatly appreciate the community – oriented atmosphere that the employees create. Reese and Corbin, along with the other whose names I unfortunately cannot currently remember, are friendly, prompt, and accurate. The food is good, don’t get me wrong, but it’s the dedicated employees who’ve forged relationships with customers that have made this particular sandwich shop stand out from competitors.

This is actually the best sub place I have ever been. They put the most meat on the subs that I have seen anywhere. They taste great and the meat is always fresh and piled high. It is really cool how they have all the different kinds of hot sauces there and you can use any kind you want for free. Be careful with the really hot sauces because some of them are hot enough to take your breath away. They have mild and medium heat level sauces too; I like the medium heat. Great place to eat in or take out. You won’t be disappointed with the subs here!

Finally, a place that makes a sub the way I ordered it, with extra onions! The bread was not warm and seemed kind of stale. So that sucked. Overall, the sub places do NOT make my sandwiches the way I order them. That’s the reason I rarely come, but I do enjoy the flavor. Check the photo extra onions finally.
