I live in Winston, but work in Kernersville. I really didn’t know the area quite that well, I just happened to stop in at The Firehouse Subs on My lunchbreak after getting directions as to where to eat for lunch. Went into The Firehouse Subs for the first time, some months ago Now, and been going ever since. The Staff is so very Nice, Dedicated, Friendly, and Charming: Jodie, Jade’, Nick, William, and Stephanie are Outstanding Workers. Each order has been so Delicious, prepared fresh, meaty, and tasty. My Favorite (sandwich) Sub is the Firehouse Italian Sub. But The Most Exciting Part Of Going To The FIREHOUSE SUBS, is that They know You by Name, and I Appreciate that…makes Me feel Absolutely Special and Welcoming!!

They don’t put much meat on the sub. Almost half had no meat on it. Spend $27 for two people for two med subs with only one drink & two chips. Put more meat on your subs. I want be back . Look at your pictures of the subs on the wall they have meat on them. Fix sub the way you got on menu.

Accidentally left my wallet here (7/23/23) The employees who worked until closing that night stole my cash but turned the wallet in. The manager returned my cash but I will never go back there. Thieves work there. Beware.

I went there because I’ve been to the Highpoint one and it’s always been great. This one is definitely not the same. The tuna sub was super watery and my sub had no mayonnaise or cheese. It also had like 2 slices of turkey. I took a picture of it. I called there a couple times but it was a busy signal. I got busy and did call but because it was 5 days later the manager said I had to get there yesterday 8/22/22 if I wanted my sub replaced. I told him that I was calling for future reference so they could improve. I wasn’t looking for a replacement. I really didn’t want one either. I used to manage a place, and worked in my own catering business and you definitely need correct fulfillment of orders.

By far the worst Firehouse I’ve been to. I have had issues here before but today takes the cake, I get home with my food and they forgot to put 80% of what I asked for on my sub. I go back and speak with one employee who was nice and helpful but she looked at my receipt and asked if these items were supposed to be on the sub? I knew I was in trouble then, I told her yes and she remade the sub, as soon as I get in the car I check it and she still forgot multiple things! I know these jobs aren’t for the most qualified people but for $40 for 2 meals I’d expect at least for the order to be right after multiple tries. Whoever owns this location should have a manager on staff everyday instead of a few college kids that don’t care about anything.
