Easy location right on US 40. Parking is easy and close. They do have a drive thru. The food was hot and fresh. The service was great. The restaurant was being cleaned while we were there. The Italian Sub is very flavorful with fresh meats and toppings. The brisket is hot and tender. Full of flavor. This is a great place to grab a sub.

We were greeted by a friendly staff, and they were helpful and patient with us since this was our first time eating at Firehouse Subs. My wife ordered the Italian, my son ordered the Smokehouse Brisket & Cheese and I ordered the New York Steamer. We loved how fresh the meats and toppings were. The sandwiches tasted delicious, and we look forward to going back soon.

Cajun chicken sub is the best sub I have had in the Plainfield area. Add on some garlic butter and you will not be disappointed. The food is consistently great here. Cant recommend this place and the sub’s enough.

My first visit to Firehouse. Went into the store at 8:20. Scheduled closing is posted as 9:00. Ordered a meatball sub and was informed they had already put them away. My first visit to Firehouse was MY LAST!

I’ve visited Firehouse Subs all around the USA, and this was the first stand alone restaurant I’ve seen. Also had a nice outdoor seating area under the overhang. Service and food were great, although the dining room area wasn’t so nice. Chips and bread on the floor, dirty tables. When we were leaving one of the employees started sweeping and wiping tables, but at the rate he was moving he would be there until midnight. The restroom could have used some attention, no soap in dispenser.

Firehouse has the best hot subs around! My fav is the Italian with spicy peppers on wheat! They do an incredible Job! Lunch here is nuts! There’s a patio outside and that rocks! Great service! The drink counter needs to be moved to a more accessible area. To get to it you have fight through the waiting hoards of people who don’t know where to wait for their sandwiches. That’s terrible location

Usally always good when we get to go. Haven’t been in a while. They seemed short handed like most places these days. Got a sub to go, had to travel with it so I wanted it a certain way. It was not made right. Was not given enough sauce for the sandwich. This will have to be something we only eat there, not travel with. Got the new garlic bread too. It was chewy and not very good. But at least I tried it.
