Ok, the subs are delicious!! But make sure you know the size of the sub you’re getting. I ordered the small, which was half of half of an 8 inch sub . However, it ended up being fulfilling, but I wanted more! It was so good. Next time, I’ll size up! 🙂

I wish I could rate this place higher, as the food is actually quite good. Trying to order here has become pretty difficult in the past several months, though – I’ve come by nearly a dozen times during their posted business hours only to find them closed, with no sign or anything.

Wow, nothing makes my day brighter than an Italian sub (+ banana peppers) from this place. It’s sad because I’ve been there many days and it’s closed due to not enough workers. It’s a catch-22. I’ve seen the manager of the restaurant bark orders like no one else. He keeps complaining that no one wants to work for him and I feel like saying, well try being a little bit nicer. Stop yelling at everyone. I would never ever want to work at a place if he was my manager. I couldn’t handle even one day. You can tell he’s completely exhausted. And I sort of feel sorry for him. But if he would just understand that he’s a huge part of the problem as to why no one wants to work there!!!! If he was a little bit kinder, I bet you he’d have more people trying to get a job there. I mean it’s not like they are paying top dollar! He complains openly about lazy teenagers not performing well. I want to say, that’s because they live with their parents! No one older who lives on their own, could afford to work there. It’s sad. I think Firehouse needs to get a new manager who knows how to manage younger workers. Just my two cents.

Nothing like placing an order online, having the payment taken, and driving to pick it up only to find out they are completely closed. We looked up the hours online and it said that they were open. We are still fighting to get our money back. How is this place still in business?!?!? Oh right, they accept payments while closed. Meaning they are only paying rent, not for employees or supplies.

Not my first choice for a sub; family member insist this is the place for a hot sandwich. Personally, I just like my pastrami on a grill not steamed. Anyhow, been a couple of times and never had an issue with customer service, order incorrect, slow service etc. The foyer area could be a little cleaner, but overall not a bad experience. Would return and recommend.

I love the food when it’s actually OPEN! Multiple times we’ve tried driving by on a Saturday and they are closed. How can you be open on a Thursday evening when we drive through the parking lot not needing food, but when we actually want food on a Saturday you’re not open. Please explain that!

Waited an hour for my order. Was told 15 more minutes. And they still had not started on it.

First and last time here. Decided to try the other Firehouse location in Frederick, as the location by the movie theater is very rude. This location is the same. Walked in and was the only customer in the store and 2 employees can’t greet the only customer. The customer shouldn’t have to interact first. If you don’t like your job, there’s people that would love an opportunity at enoloyment!

Always been a problematic location, remains poorly managed, poorly staffed, and customer unfriendly. Product remains very good, but it’s the getting the product to the consumer that is really lacking.

Where’s the meat? An almost $15 meal and all I taste is bread. This place used to be awesome. I’ve noticed a steady decline in the quality and value of the food. Corporate greed I guess.
