My first time trying Firehouse Subs was a complete disaster! Help me understand why the Philly Steak and Cheese was served wet with soggy bread? I’m so disappointed after hearing nothing but great things about the subs, salads, and limeade. I asked for a small and was given a medium, I asked if American cheese was available instead of provolone and was charged extra for monterrey jack. I’m sure it was just a bad experience that hopefully doesn’t happen often but definitely not worth $10

If I could give this place zero stars I would….worst service I’ve ever experienced at a firehouse. The staff were exceptionally rude. They jacked up my order….not a single sub was done correctly. My bread was soggy I could even at it. I’ll NEVER be returning to this place.

Been eating there for 11 years. Sandwich is great, service on pickup sucked. Lots of sandwiches shop’s have moved in here lately. McAlister’s, American deli, Jersey Mike’s, not even going to mention Subway. Here lately Firehouse does not even answer the phone. It’s the only way you can go through drive thru. They don’t close till 9 so I call in an order at 8:30 and they say they are no longer taking orders. This is not a one-time episode this is just one time I’m telling you about this episode. I’m ready to leave this sandwich shop. Because of the service.

the food was pretty good but kinda soggy. the drink machine also definitely needs to be cleaned, it tasted awful. didn’t get napkins or sauce with my order and it was over $30 for just two people.

My favorite place to eat but the people that were working there Saturday morning had the worst attitude. The food was good but the drinks were all flat.

The management at this place should be fired. It is the worst rub restaurant in Troy. The negative comments on the reviews are being kind. Once they took the phone off the hook because they didn’t want to mess with to go orders. This came from one of the workers. It’s too bad I love Firehouse but this one is poorly managed

1 star due to the menu not being on the website. I have spent 15 minutes looking for a menu. I’ve even gone to Yelp. If you can’t find anything you can definitely find it on Yelp! But still no menu. If I can’t look at a menu, I’ll gladly order from Jersey Mike’s where I can look at what I want before I get in my car to pay for it and pick it up. This is ridiculous…

The sandwiches were pretty good but they seemed to have a challenge with the finer details with the kids meals which tends to ruin your meal. We asked for the kids meal not to be toasted or have the meat heated and they did both which also equals melted cheese. When we brought it to their attention they simply took everything off of the toasted bread and put it in un-toasted bread which ultimately made the entire situation worse and we simply ended up throwing the sandwich away and giving her everyone’s pickels for lunch. How hard is it to just remake it correctly? Overall, we are just passing through town, heading back to GA, so it is challenging to get a redo with this meal. Maybe next time…

I always love the great hot freshly made sandwich bread used here. I usually get the B-B-Q brisket with Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce and no mayo (doesn’t need it) . All sandwiches come with pickle spear [dill] upon request, and can be purchased as combos with chips[many choices including vickies and baked as well] and drinks. The drinks in addition to sweet and unsweet tea are offered from the coke mixing machine with endless choices. We like the limeaid or peach sprite. With names like hook and Ladder on the menu, the fire engine murals and firefighting equipment used as decorations on the walls throughout, and the bright red chairs you truly do feel as though you could be at a firehouse kitchen. This theme and decor would delight small children I believe. And with sandwiches offered in 3 sizes, small medium and large (being more than a foot long) enough food for any appetite. Clean, open feeling place with room to gather and hangout.
