My work had the Truck come so everyone could order their own lunches. First off, the “truck guys” were amazing, they were friendly and informative on top of getting my food out quickly. Second, some coworkers felt the fried fish was a little heavy on the breading for their taste, but I loved the coleslaw and the Shrab mixture is very good.

So disappointed. Portion was way too small for the price. I bought shrabster and grits and catfish and grits for a little over $50. I placed my order at 6pm and received it around 7:30pm and it was cold and tasteless. What I received was nothing like the pic.

1st time going here. 5 Stars for Quality of Food and Customer Service. There was a snafu with the order but had no issues correcting. The food was delicious and worth every penny. Coming from Mississippi this was a real treat. The BBQ was banging and the Shrab Fries (Phenonemal). Keep it up guys!

I had such high hopes for this place after reading reviews, but was left disappointed. I got the rib sandwich which comes with about 4 pieces of ribs (maybe 5) and 2 pieces of bread. It didnt have any taste and didnt come with bbq sauce even though i requested it. I also got the fries with crab and shrimp but there was very little crab and shrimp. I think i saw only 2 or 3 baby shrimps and there was barely any crab. This was the only item that had potential if they gave proper portions for the price.

Delicious soul food in an unassuming store front. The eating area doesn’t have a lot sitting space, but their specialty is carry out and catering. Those that do dine-in will be treated with fire fighter paraphernalia. However, the main attraction to Fireman’s cafe is the food. It didn’t take long for the food to be prepared and there was a scrumptious simplicity to it. A must visit for those in the area.

I didn’t expect too much by looking at the exterior but they serve up some really tasty soul food. Highly recommended. Stuff is cooked to order so give them a few minutes to put together your plate. They have funky hours so check online or call ahead.

Me and my bro ham decided to give it a try. He overheard someone at work raving about it. I can’t speak for him but I got the shrab sandwich. It was actually really tasty but the portion size relative to the price… I’m not impressed. I joked that they must’ve fished the seafood themselves and picked the crab by hand for these prices. Come on… baby shrimp?!? NO!!! Ain’t gonna lie though, it was GOOD!!! I was craving it the next day…

Now I just tried this place off a whim. Dinner time and I couldn’t make up my mind on what to cook so here is where I ended up. The website says they close at 9 on one page but disregard that, they close at 8. The prices are reasonable, generous portions of food. When I called to place my order I could tell they have young workers but they were very respectful and professional unlike a few other places with young staff. The inside was clean, I was greeted immediately and customer service was just awesome. Not to mention these SHRAB FRIES!?!! Oh. My. Goodness. Shrimp and crab meat on hot fresh fries only two minute things I wish there was more pieces of shrimp and a little more sauce. Fireman’s cafe, you have a new returning customer. I hope the rest of the food lives up to the amazing service and food I received tonight.
